MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

So here I am sitting with my sheets, underwear, & nightgown in the washer, I wet the bed, I was drenched. I got out of bed and it followed me down the hall to the bathroom, so here I sit crying & my husband was so sweet he cleaned the hardwood floors up for me & took sheets off the bed.

This hasn't happened to me in about 5 years, of course I always have leaks, but this was a full blown wet the bed!Sad I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again. I needed to vent right now to help me feel betterSad Sad

thanks for listening if anyone is up.

Oh hun, it's ok, accidents happen, and you know it didn't hurt anyone. I know it's upsetting but it can be fixed, it's not like the sheets and all can't be washed. I'm so glad that you have a sweet, understanding and loving hubby.

I think it's important for you to understand that it's because you have a medical condition and it was beyond your control. Looking at it like that what do you have to be embarrased about?

So take a deep breath, give yourself a gentle hug, tell your hubby you appreciate him and stop beating yourself up over something beyond your control.

You are not alone, we are all here for you hun.

*big pixie hugs*

Your so blessed to have a husband who is so understanding. As hard as it is not to be embarrassed it happens sometimes. It's great that he understands and is helpful to you. I hope you were able to get some rest. Put this night behind you start new in the morning

OH LIBRAJO, I'M ALWAYS UP LATE. (LIKE AN ALLEY CAT)I HAVE BEEN THERE TOO, AND I CRIED JUST AS YOU ARE. IT HAPPENS TO MORE PEOPLE MORE OFTEN THAN YOU THINK.

WITH ALL THE MEDS WE HAVE TO TAKE JUST TO BE NORMAL, IT'S NO WONDER OUR BODIES DON'T CRY OUT IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE.

YOU KNOW SOMETHIN: BELIEVE IT OR NOT OUR HUSBANDS BECOME CLOSER TO US WHEN WE ARE (OR FEEL WE ARE) MORE VONERABLE THAN NORMAL. WE ALL AS HUMANS HAVE A MASK THAT WE WEAR AND TIMES LIKE THESE ARE WHEN OUR MATES DISCOVER US AS THE MASK IS UNVEILED. YOUR HUBBY GETS A CHANCE TO SEE THROUGH THE MASK, AND SEES THE LOVE YOU HAVE FOR HIM THERE INSIDE YOU. IT'S A PLACE WHERE HE KNOWS NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER BEEN. THIS IS THE REASON HE WILL PULL CLOSER TO YOU. WE WILL BE TOGETHER FOR SEVENTEEN YEARS ON THE 29TH OF THIS MONTH. WHILE I'M NO EXPERT ON MARRIAGE, MY HUBBY HAS STUCK WITH ME THROUGH SOME OF THE MOST SCARY, AND VERY SERIOUS TIMES I EVER THOUGHT I'D FACE. PM ME AND I'D BE HAPPY TO SHARE. MY DAD ALWAYS SAID A WOMAN ONLY NEEDS TO KNOW TWO VERBS: SHARE AND SHOW. SHARE YOUR HEART AND SHOW YOUR LOVE TOGETHER YOU BOTH FIT LIKE A GLOVE. SOUNDS SIMPLE I KNOW, BUT IT WORKS FOR ME. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU IN SOME WAY. IF YOU NEED ME CLICK ON MY PROFILE UNDER MESSAGES AND CHOOSE PRIVATE MESSAGE. I PROMISE TO GET BACK WITH YOU THE SAME DAY. I ALWAYS CHECK MY PERSONAL MESSAGES. YOU CAN DO THAT WITH ANYONE HERE. WE ALL CARE, AND WE ARE THERE FOR YOU. YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF OK? STAY IN TOUCH OK? HUGS, PILLPOPPER

OOOOO - Now thats what I needed on this dreadful Monday morning... It actually made me laugh... NOT because you had an accident... but because I did too.... I was painting in a chair accross from my hubby Sat. night (my desk is accross from his computer desk) and I SNEEZED so hard, I was drenched.... so I got up... started putting all my stuff in a pile and got ready to take a shower... My hubby looked up and said... Honey I love you.... which of COURSE made me cry.... But I didn't realize others did this! I guess I'll just laugh it off... b/c at this point, my body is breaking down so bad thats the only thing I can control! heheh

Don't be embarressed! I think that has happened to everyone, at least once, even though they probrally won't admit it. My husband travels alot for work and has a little roll of toilet paper in his glovebox just in case he has to jump out of the car suddenly!

Aquarian,

Don't Laugh, You'll pee your pants again if your anything like meW00t The sneeze thing happens to me all the time.

I keep the makers of Care Free panty shields in Business! (the thicker panty shield of course)Looks like I may have to step up to Poise pads or something like that.

Let's see do I want to be "Carefree" or Poise properly in my panties - ok I made myself laugh. Laughing Laughing

On a more serious note, I have Transverse Myelitis. Got it back in 2002 (a cousin to MS) sometimes TM is the first presentation of MS. I used to wet myself often back in 2002 so when this happened the MS thing was in the back of my mind. Time will tell & I'll deal with it then.

Have a Carefree MondaySmile
