[b]I went to my P.T. on Thursday and it went ok but while the therapist was working on my hip and siatica I was haveing lots of pain, he told me that my pelvic and right hip were way out of line. Have any of you had this problem ? My P.M. told me its from the Fibro and that alot of us get in that position. Last night was the worse night ever. Need to do my exercises.

Although I do hear of physical therapy working for some- it didn't work for me. The pain I was in when going, along with the pain of the exercises was horrendous.

I can't do the chiropractor thing either. But some do that and it helps a lot. Have you tried it? That would probably help with your alignment.

I do water therapy. Have you tried that?

My thought is that we all need to try everything and anything to figure out what works for us. Cause what works for one may or may not work for another.

I wish you the best, and hope that you figure out something for relief. Take Care.

i've gone several times to PT and it does help me. sometimes my muscles get so knotted up that i can't move my head from side to side. and once my hips where aout of alignment and the PT got me right again.

The first time you go they ask alot of questions and poke around some to figure out what the problem is. they use heat to warm up the muscles and then have you do stretches and show you things to do at home to help. some use tens units and others electrical machines that make the muscles contract. some had me use exercise equipment. i think it's worth trying.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.

Sounds good, I guess I am just worried about being in additional pain. I'm going for an evaluation to see if I need something for balance when I walk, like a cane or something. Falling down and tipping over has gotten to be a real problem. I do want to have the PT though, heck anything to help, ya know. Maybe I should sacrifice a chicken and see if that helps....hmmmm

Do you think the frozen one in the freezer would help? I could sacrifice it for dinner

A reg pt causes me more pain. I have to use one that uses holistic methods. That way I dont get severe pain from it. It works real fast for me too. When I had shoulder surgery the reg pt made me get severe muscles spasms. She toldme I just needed to take the pain pills I was given to do therapy. I found this one who did this hoistic pt. I felt better by the 2nd visit. By the end of the month I felt better than I had for a long time. Good luck with the pt. I hope yours helps.

I had therapy on my back when I herniated a disc. while initially it hurt more as they work with you and get some muscles looser and stuff it did start to feel better. I love the hot packs. And hey pixie I hear they accept no sacrifices smaller than a turkey. lol
