I'm so confused. I stopped taking my Cymbalta & Ultram b/c I was thinking they were causing me chaos w/ libido and orgasms. I am also taking Elavil at night-which I thought was to help me sleep, I just read up on Elavil, it is not a sleep aid, it is an antidepressant also. And one of it's side effects is no more orgasms I know some of you have already read my post about problems w/ sex. That's not my concern w/ this post. I am so frustrated with the non-sleep. No wonder I would take the Elavil at 8 thinking I should be sleepy around 9-10 and still be wide awake at midnight. You know what? A couple of years ago, my gp would give me xanax for my nerves, and it would make me sleep. I mentioned xanax to my internist when I was there for my last fibro appt, and she said "hell no, that's addictive". Well, I'm thinking so what if it's addictive? We're going to be in this boat for the rest of our lives...who cares if we get addicted to xanax? At least it will give us restful sleep at night instead of suffering all day AND all night. |

Everyone is different. I also gave up the Cymbalta gave me worst headaches. Anyway after I started getting some sleep, I started cutting the pills and only taking half a pill. I now only take it every couple of days. Whatever works huh!
I hope it will work for you I have gone like 3 days when I finally collapsed, before I got Meds.
