MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." Hi everyone.

It's rough being in so much of so much all the time. This hurting, that hurting, holy crap and what is THAT hurting? I go to PT 3 x a week and I'm lucky my insurance hasn't run out yet. I was starting to see improvement and thought maybe I could decrease a pill, so I talked it over with my doc and he was fine w/ it. All of a sudden, muscle spasms galore.

I think I was most upset is that I was helping take care of someone elderly in my family and I appeared to be worse off than them. "Appeared" meaning I had to grab onto the chair with my leg and back having two different, strong muscle spasms and I always wait for it to pass. I've been able to breathe throughout these things lately. I used to just scream!

I am now going back onto the higher dose I was on. It does get upsetting how I'd love to be on less medication but at the very same time~ I remember the pain felt when I was on none at all.... I know I'm lucky to be able to see doctors and get medication. It's just hard when it's making me miserable, doesn't agree with my mood(and ya know, already got a doc for that) or other pills, and makes me drowsy as could be.

Will keep trying only harder Smile <3

Take good care!

oh how I undersand what you mean about feeling older then the elderly person..I remeber when an old couple using walkers passed me and held the door for me,HOLY GOD! that was one of my lowest days..

you know as much as we would like to we just have to fight every single day to due the best we can, that is all we can due.. I would say every day find something to enjoy and hold on to that..even if its just a smile from a loved one...

I have gone through the medicein wanting off and trying I still have days when I want off but I think its part of denile on my part.. every time I try to get off I go into a huge melt down physically,so no its not worth it..what is worth it is finding the right combo.. I use to worry about addiction, now I know Im not and addict but I am dependant..

keep fighting..

we all have alot to give if one gets the help then some of this suffering is worth it..

remeber I am not a doctor I just say what I think

Keep on keeping on as we all do. It sounds like you keep trying the best you can, that's all you can do. You're entitled to take a day or days for yourself to just relax or curl up with a favorite book, maybe the tube all day, whatever works for YOU! In the meantime, we're here and no worries, we understand.
