MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

hi

first let me welcome you to the family.Im glad you found us..fibr effects us all so diffrent I think my opinion if you have an underling problem like for me nerve damage from a back injury it effects that worse..flairs are very hard to deal with you think they'll never end but they finally due then your scared when the next will hit..

there are things that can trigger a flair one would be stress so try and take time for your self and try and relax..you will if you havent learned your limits denial is the worst part cause I myself refused to believe I couldnt due as I always have so I flaired alot then got very depressed and the circle went on..

as for exersice you have to find something for me its swimming to keep you moving..water for most of us is great because we are weightless, the first time I went in the waer every muscel hurt so bad cause I was sooo tence didnt relise it..

epsion salt baths help as well just soaking is great..sleep is a biggy fatuige wise because when you have chronic pain you due not sleep right even if you sleep all the time if you are having sever fatuige ask about a sleep aid crazy I know but it truly helps..several of us take meletonin over the counter for help with sleep..

up in the right corner is a find bar if you want to look at past questions feel free to ask any and all you want

we all have alot to give if one gets the help then some of this suffering is worth it..

remeber I am not a doctor I just say what I think

Thank you so much I can relate with being scared of flair ups, it is always in the back of my head when I leave the house, I did not want anyone to know I was in pain for so long I have stayed away from people other than my husband and children, (we have been joking we are getting old together) even though my husband does not feel old in the least. I guess I am scatter brained about the who thing... I have not had a terrible flair up in over a month and i wish everyone here the same luck as me.

I have been in a horrendous Fibro flair for months.

I think everyone is different. Sorry that you are in pain. Take life 1 moment at a time. Hang in there. You are not alone. Kissing

I feel the same way, I find it really hard to genuinly be nice sometimes... And my husband is not neglected ( he is much to foward to take that) but he is definatly over worked, he helps around the house and with the kids and works 12 and a half hours a day, I wonder if he might suffer more than me, He truely does not know very much about how seriously bad this effects me (I try not to let him know how hard it is) I do not want him to think I do not enjoy and appreciate everything we have together. thank you for sharing.Wink

No, you're not crazy. I thought the same thing shortly before I was diagnosed. Unfortunately near the same time, I was diagnosed with many other serious illnesses.I was diagnosed with panic disorder (I was having multiple panic attacks daily). I was under so much stress and didn't know what was wrong with me. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and hyperglycemia. I had already been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD, for yrs before all these other things. Anyways, after all the new diagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia with Chronic Fatigue Disorder. Yes, I have heard that one can become immoble. Unfortunately, I can't give u any more specifics. One of the main problems I've found, is that uninformed, uneducated people, think that ur making up Fibro, because a lot of times u look just fine on the outside, but u don't feel fine on the inside. Good luck and hang in there!

At your age you have a lot to look forward to so dont let any dx get you down !! Its not as bad as it sounds. I humor myself with the websites that say fibro is a fake illness or disease. Lots of doctors and clergy post on the sites lmao.
How can I be a doctor when I spend much of my time visiting them ?

Hang in there. We are here for you. This is a wonderful place for you to vent and express yourself. You will not be judged. Having Fibromyalgia is overwhelming emotionally and physically. I understand.

Feel free to send me a message anytime if you need to talk. Have a blessed day. Don't give up! Kissing
