I would like to know if anyone has experienced humming and buzzing in their ears especially as night comes and lights go on around me. I also feel and hear a Rhythmic vibration around me. It grinds at me so much. In fact I'm very sensitive to all sounds. These things seem to appear as my disease worsened and though the medicine I take for it (Lyrica) does wonders for the pain, it also seem to increase these symptoms. I also get one additional strange symptom of seeing a very white liquid type light roll past my eyes. Never the same one twice of and on throughout the day. It like my electrical system has been affected in a major way.

hi... I think that most of us have this buzzing in our ears....sometimes for me it drowns out other peoples voices.... as far as the vibrations...not for me..... but fibro has different effects on all of us......

Good luck..

Yeah! i''ve got the ringing/buzzing in my ears. I've had it for as long as i can remember. I guess i've gotten used to it. it used to drive me crazy. I blame it for my not so great singing voice. Haha

sometimes the side effects are worse than the actual problems. I think our central nervous systems are out of wack. that could explain the light you see.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.

Boy thats nice to know, I've been wonder about the ear thing for a long time. Thats the price I pay for seeing a P.A. as apposed to a doc. She's wonderful and has been very supportive but when I bring up symptoms like the humming and buzzing in my ears (and vibrations which match the humming sounds). she is always stumped and just says she's never heard of it or that the meds could be causing it. Because I was struggling in an abusive world for so long and virtually denied access to anyone who could inform or encourage me, strange symptoms just cause me to become more fearful of life. So good to be in touch with the world.

Well I'm certainly glad I opened this subject. Its nice to laugh about it for a change. I have prayed to find out that I'm not alone. I think that is the hardest part of any disease or dysfunction, feeling like I'm the only one and that I'm indeed crazy. I was told that many times by my abuser and unfortunately he succeeded in his goal for many years. But now I'm on my own and can reach out and touch someone like here and learn to laugh about the things that used to frighten and terrorize me.

Hi danny_lynn nope you are not alone. that's one of the great things about this site we throw out these "hey has anyboyd else had..." and find out there are so many of us in the same boat. I have the ringing and vibrations in my ears. I have had them so long I almost don't notice it any more. I do remember one day I was sitting watching a movie with my daughter and I got all excited. she asked what was wrong I said Nothing My ears just aren't ringing for the first time in in so long i forgot what normal sound was like lol. unfortunaely it only lasted a day and that back to ringing
