I'm having a very difficult time getting my doctor to give my anything stronger than Tramdol. I'm in so much pain some days i can barely get off the couch. i have three kids. the youngest is 4 and still at home. The doctor is great and understanding but i think everyone is so afraid of addicition. i don't believe people who really need the stronger drugs could get addicted. we need some relief from the pain every now and then. any advice for me?

Are you using plain Tramodol or Tramadol/APAP? If your on the Plain Tramadol and take tylenol with it it's basically the same as the Tylenol/APAP(Ultracet). It might not help much more but worth a try if your doctor doesn't wnat to give you anything else

It's generic plain tramodol. I do sometimes take tylenol along with it. I have found wrapping myself in a heating blanket helps but it's hard to take it with me when i need to move around.

we should invent a heated suit that runs on batteries for portablilty. keeps you covered right down to your toes. kinda like the old one peice PJ's but heated. Wouldn't that be nice

hi this is something I said before I use, it the heat patches.... but what I do...I put them above the pain... like if my hands are bad... above my elbow.... can go out... for my feet, on my calf......you get the idea..

It works for me... it has really helped here during this cold snap....

yes.... I have a box will hve to get the name off it for you later

they work for me.... they have them for hands and elbows and back..... I use the back ones above my elbow for my hands and forearms.... you just have to do trial and error to find what works for you...

Thermacare pads work good. They seem to stick well and keep the heat coming for a good while.
