MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

I'm an Advocate

Just wanted to let you know that I finaly broke down and made an appt. to see why the diarrhea and stomach cramps won't stop. I had an appt this morning, they did a blood workup on me, took a culture and asked alot of questions. I am scheduled for a colonscopy & EGD on the 4th of May. That's the soonest they could get me in with Dr. Poch, but I am on the call list if someone should cancel. I don't care when it is, I just want to be able to eat and not have it cramp so bad that I want to scream. When the cramps start, I can't hold or touch my stomach, then I'm running to the bathroom and that's where I am most of the night. I go so much, that I have lost count after 5. So they are doing a colonscopy and looking at everything from that end, and then they are going to go into my throat and look at my stomach and everything that's in the upper GI. I really don't care how they do it, as long as they can fix it. This has been going on for too long now. I have lost too much weight. Today when they weighted me, I'm down 3 pounds just since yesterday. I weighted myself yesterday and I was 125, they weighted me and I'm 122. I keep going down and I can't afford to loose anymore. I have gotten to where I eat very little because I know what's coming if I eat too much, but, it doesn't matter how much or what I eat, I still have the cramps and diarrhea no matter what. Some of you know that I have been battling with this. Thanks for listening. God BLess You All. shortstuff

Good luck with your appointment today.

I triggered my spastic colon today.

I had some subtle signs recently and ignored them.

Every time I eat today, I get sick.

I was actually wondering today if there is a link between my spastic colon flare up and fibromyalgia. I know my fibromyalgia is stress related for me. I have panic attacks for no reason also.

FYI-if you weighed yourself on a different scale then the one the Doctor's office weighed you on, try not to be too surprised by the difference in numbers. All scales will be off a few pounds from each other. I only get weighed at my doctor's office on the same scale.

I have been dropping weight since all this crap started and I'm not too worried about the difference in what the doctors office said than what mine did, either way, I'm not gaining any to talk about.

I'm not looking forward to this in May, but I do want to know what's going on. Thanks. I hope that you feel better. By the Way, WELCOME TO THE GROUP! God Bless You. shortstuff

You are encouraging me to make an appt with my G.I. doctor. I have been putting it off for too long myself. I have a problem with my Gallbladder, Hernia and who knows what else. Please take care and hope you get in real soon. Don't worry about the test. You will be at ease when all of this is behind and don't have to be in so much pain.

Warm hugs and gentle hugs. Olga
