I guess where I am at is i would like to ask you guys are these things what you all have?

My joints hurts, I must have the flu but not the fever! I even have the nausea. You know what hurts the worse. The doctor last week pressed on my points behind my head right at the base and i thought i might throw up. I was sick! I have had severe headaches since then. The warm kind that radiate up and come around your head. If i put my arms up to long they are so achey they hurt and did i mention i can hardly sleep for my extremidies going numb and tingling?

My DX is fibro and post concussion syndrome and depression. I think that dealing with Fibro makes you depressed! The very first doctor i went to told me i needed a shrink!

Are these things what others have? I just can't except that this is what i have!

I know I must accept this but it s so new.

Any words of comfort would help.

Maybe i wont be so bad tomorrow.

Sorry all!

I am just like you. Pain is so bad I have thrown up many times. The pain under my shoulder blades hurt so bad it hurts 2 breath. Every1 I'm around tells me to relax and 2 calm down. I get so upset y me, what did I do 2 deserve all this. My dr didn't tell me I needed a shrink, not sure that would help. I have bad days were its hard 2 fite through the pain and move. But I have found that trying 2 redirect and focus on sumthing that makes you happy helps. And talking and reading all these posts have helped. 2 find so many ppl that are like me and are just so eager to help and just 2 listen. I don't have any1 2 talk that understands this like all of the wonderfull ppl here. Ask so many ?s you will find so much help here.

ok yep that pretty much sums up how I felt most of the time before the Lyrica. Yes I still have trouble with just about everything except not as severe as before the Lyrica. I can understand having a hard time accepting your diagnosis. for me though it was the opposite I was so glad to have it called something and know what I was feeling was real that I didn't really comprehend the long term thing. Yes dealing with Fibro will cause you to be depressed it is very frustrating when you can't do what you used to. You find over time you compensate though. I have the same problem with lifting my arms the hurt so bad and become so weak. I have chosen to wear my hair short because I couldn't hold a hair dryer anymore. The more you read here the more you will find in our abnormal way we are normal and hopefully that will help you to get through this daily struggle

DEAR VANSHADSYD,

EVERYONE FOR THE MOST PART WILL HAVE SIMILAR SYMPTOMS, BUT THERE ALSO MIGHT BE OTHER SY,PTOMS YOU MIGHT HAVE THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS. YOU SEE FROM HOW IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME. IS FIBRO CAN COME IN DIFFERENT DEGREES WITH EVERY DIFFERENT PERSON. THATS WHY ITS GOOD TO BE IN A SUPPORT FROUP SO ONE CAN SHARE DIFFERENT THINGS. AND THERE JUST MIGHT BE SOMEONE ELSE OUT THERE EXPIRIENCING THE SAME WIERD SYMPTOM.

I HOPE I WAS ABLE TO HELP. THIS IS NOT EASY FOR ANY OF US BELIEVE ME I CAN'T STAND GETTING UP AOUT OF BED SOMETIMES. BUT IKNOW I HAVE TO. SO IDO. BUT I DO KNOW MY LORD IS COMMING BACK AGAIN TO TAKE ME HOME WHERE THERE IS NO MORE PAIN AND NO MORE FIBRO.

LOVE ALWAYS TRISH

I'm in a flare and I feel like I have the flu too. I hurt SO bad. It hurts for anyone to touch me, can't have a hug, a handshake, etc. And going to bed is absolutely awful. It hurts to get into bed, lay on my own body, and get out of bed.

I've spent most my Fibro days nauseated and the pain will actually make me sick to my stomach. It's no fun!

I'm sorry that you're feeling this way too. I hope you find some releif. One thing that kinda helps me is to soak in the tub with really hot water, sometimes I put Epsom Salt in it, and at bedtime I use 'sleeping' bubbles. I also go to the Wellness Center to do water exercises in 92 degree water.

Take care.
