I take Tizanidine, 8mgs at bedtime. It makes me really sleepy, but helps a lot with the muscle spasms. My rheumy did tell me of a new drug out for muscle spasms. You take it in the morning and it releases throughout the day. I guess it's only a few months old though and therefore is very expensive.

I tried Lyrica, but it made me very ill. I was only on it for 4 days and they immediately took me off- because of what it was doing to me.

All the drugs I take are:

Hydroco/APAP, 5-500mg tab (1 every 4-6 hours)

Mobic- take generic- Meloxicam, 15mg (1/day)

Effexor XR, 150mgs (1/day)

Xanax- take generic- Alprazolam, 0.5mg (1/day)

Zestoretic- take genereric- Lisinop HCTZ, 20-12.5 (1/day)

Tizanidine, 4mgs (2 at bed-time)

Ambien CR, 12.5mg (1 pm)

Midrin (prn)

Imitrex, 100mgs (prn- dosage is 1/day, 2prn)

Lybrel (birth control to stop periods- anemic)

Vitamin B2 Riboflavin, 400mgs (1/day)

Ultra Preventative III (vitamin supplement)

Magnesium Glycinate (supplement)
