MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." Total disaster, just moved into new home December 6, yesterday morning fiance went into basement for something, and abt 2 inches of water, he called for me to come down, now mind u this basement is a full basement, that we were going to turn into huge family room...literally within 5 minutes, the water went from 2 inches to abt 6, we called a guy to come out, and pump out basement, he came 2 hours later, now the water was abt 5' deep, lost everything, two living room sets, 52" flat screen tv,coffee table, end tables, lamps, probably abt 20-30 boxes, that we hadn't even unpacked yet...my photo albums, of my son, all baby pics....EVERYTHING...when I looked down there, when the man came out, our water heater, furnace was floating, furniture floating, for some reason sump pumps (6) of them all gave out at the exact time, called insurance company, they won't be here for another week, and also implied we may not be covered, because they don't cover sump pumps, we had pumps running all night, to drain basement, now it seems pumps gave out, and water is coming back in, fiance, and his son r trying to get them to work, I had to get away from them, because when I look down there I get physically sick! We figured we lost at least 20,000 or more, omg and the insurance may not cover it? My albums of my son, grandfather, is what is killing me....so here I sit, no water, our heat was coming from propane fireplace, now having problems with that...I just walked away and said that's it, I am done. I just can't get a grip on this one, God knows I have had my fill of heartaches, this was our new beginning, our house forever, and now all I can do is cry non-stop. I blame my fiance deep inside, because I feel he rushed too fast for this house, but when I see the pain in his eyes, it kills me, because he lost alot too. Oh God, please I can't stand it anymore, finally after so many trials and tribulations, for so many years, I thought this was it...we made it, we were so happy, but we now know the people we bought the house from lied to us, I just don't know what to do....I just want to run, but can't do that, hurt so bad today, barely can walk, my energy is a 0, my attitude sucks, I am so angry at the world right now...I am sorry, just had to let this go, or I was heading for an anxiety attack...thanks for listening to my rant!Sad Sad Sad Angry Ermm

OMG!! I am SO SORRY to hear of this! How horrible you must feel! I know how important photos are. Mine are mny prized possession. I've had to start over several times with material things, but those photos are irrepracable. I am praying for you, my dear! Sad

Oh Sweetheart - - I am sooo sorry!!!

I don't know what to say. I just wish that I could give you a 'real' hug!

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please just TRY and be gentle with yourself.

I really hope that the insurance pays out so that you don't have to deal with the financial loss on top of the sentimental loss.

We are here anytime you need to vent. It does help!

Love and lots of hugs.

Faerie

I can imagine what you are going thru, earlran, even tho' I personally have not been affected ~~~

Our city just went thru another major flood and it is soooo sad to see what people lose and how it affects their entire lives. Hubbys' cousin has just moved her furniture, computer, beds and washer/dryer back to her basement after this flood after having been in her upstairs living spaces for over a WEEK.

It truly is devastating to lose everything as you have and I am sooooo sorry ~~~

Just be strong and take things one day at a time ~~~
