MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Is anyone there? I am screaming inside and outside with an outpour of tears. I wish I could say I could leave my body until this moment was over. I cannot think to be able to do anything. Hear comes another scream... Filled with more tears. Help me... help me... I can't see straight I had some fun and now that it’s all done I just wish I could run as far away from my body as I can. Can I just say gggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... It even hurts to type and I feel this message is taking me a million years just to type. I feel as if I am dying in pain and I just wish it would stop. Is anyone there because I sure could use a huge gentile hug. I know this too shall but I feel so bad like I am stuck in the middle of a hurricane and I just can make it out.

Thanks

Boy can I identify with how you are feeling today. Everything hurts and it is hard to concentrate. I had to work today so I don't get the luxury of crawling back in bed, which is what I really want to do, *sigh*

Thank goodness I have wonderful co-workers that help pick up the slack when I am not at my best. Otherwise I don't think I would survive the day.

Please do what you can to help yourself with the pain, whether it's meds, a hot bath, heating pad, screaming, crying or all of the above. But realize you are not alone. This illness is sooooo....oh I can't even think of a word for it, but it sucks!!!

You are in my prayers hon.

soft, gentle hugs,

Denise

My poor Livn....I understand what you are feeling. It hurts...I know it does. But you shouldn't be the one who leaves your body. The pain is what needs to leave your body.

Now, I want you to try to calm down and take some deep breaths. Your pain is causing you to stress out, which is causing more pain. You need to try to relax, in any way that you can.

If you can soak in a hot tub, now would be a good time. If you think you can nap, that would be helpful. Get your heating pad out (I hope you have one) and apply it to the most painful areas. But most of all, take long, slow breaths until this pain panic is over.

You'll be okay, and we're right here for you.

oh, it sounds like you just need to rewind and start this dang day over! I'm so sorry you're feeling so awful today. I hope tomorrow is better. In the meantime, the hot bath, nap, and rest are good advice.

BIG OL' GENTLE HUGS TO YA!

Thank you. As soon as I get home from work I will do all of the above. I thank you all for letting me scream out the frustration. Sometimes that’s just what you need. Thanks.

Livn, here is a gentle cyber hug. You will have better days. They wax and wane. At least we know that there will be a day better then today.

gentle hugs,

Jenn

I just want to let you all know that I am just like you, a regular person. I am not a doctor or a therapist, but I do promise to be there and listen as often as I can.
Hugs and Peace,
Jenn
