I am just curious to see what other conditions everyone has because it seems that allot are linked to Fibro and we seem to have allot more issues. Just want to see what kind of pattern there is. As far as I know I only have Fibro. I used to be anemic and I am O negative blood type. Oh and I have anxiety, I am a bit high strung. Silly

You? High strung??? Noooo! Wink

My only disease (that I'm aware of, anyway), is Fibro. But I also have a severe chronic back injury and permanent short-term memory loss from an accident. Other than that...perfectly healthy. LOL

Wow is this ever a loaded question. Let me make a list. Sorry for any misspellings.

I was very healthy until after the age of 30, since then I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and had an uverectomy because they kept bursting. I had my gall bladder removed. A year later I got diverticulitis and was hospitalized for 10 days. A year after that I had another bout of diverticulitis and because I had a dr that kept telling me it was just cramps it got so bad that after an mri ordered by another dr I was immediately taken to surgery to remove a foot of my colon whereupon opening they realized that the infection mastitized to my uterus and one remaining ovary so that was all removed in a 6 hour surgery with a 17 day stay. Deep breath....

During all of this I had been having back problems and wanted to keep working so I would take Motrin to work through the pain, it only took the edge off the pain. I found out I had 2 compressed discs and siatica. Well after awhile a was at the clinic for what I thought was a really bad flu. I had 104 temp and hadn't eaten in over a week. I couldn't stop shivering which was weird b/c I was sent into early menopause due to my hysterectomy. After many tests they figured out my kidneys had failed and I was medivaced to a hosp in another part of the state. Complications from that caused me kidney stones and gout.

Trying to recover from that I was diagnosed with FMS, the battle never ends.

I also have high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, thoracic outlet syndrome and type 2 diabetes. I have Osteoarthritis and bursitis.

My doc told me today he wants to test for RA and Lupus, also today I was put on Zoloft b/c my dr thinks I'm depressed. Who wouldn't be?

I hope that isn't more than you wanted to hear but thank you for giving me a place to lay it down for a few minutes.

Love,
Casty

OCD which I like to call just being a perfectionist Wink I used to suffer terribly from anxiety, but I don't anymore. I think that was linked to my first dh because once I left him the anxiety went away. lol

TMJ, IBS, CFS

Bi-polar

Generalized anxiety disorder

OCD

Agoraphobia (deal with it pretty well at this point finally)

Arthritis

Social anxiety disorder

I also have a bulging disc in my back along with all sorts of other back problems, I have hip displasia issues and need both ankles rebuilt because of weak ligaments and tendons. I have had carpal tunnel in both hands, and I have fasciitis in both feet that needs surgery.

I think that's it. Smile

"The Mystery of Pain" -Emily Dickinson-
Pain has an element of blank;
It cannot recollect
When it began, or if there were
A day when it was not.

It has no future but itself,
Its infinite realms contain
Its past, enlightened to perceive
New periods of pain.
