Hi Painful90044,

I do have numbness in my feet. For me it is a 24-7 feeling . It's a dull, ache, numbness feeling. If that makes any sence to you. It affects me mostly when I am laying down. I rub my feet together A LOT. I use my heal to rub the other one and my son and hubby help to. It sometimes helps. Hot baths work for me in ebsons salt and then I massage them while they are relaxed. sometimes elevating my knees while laying and feet if needed. you have to find what works for you. Are you feet always ice cold?

I have pain points on my feet and if I can massage them and it's a good feeling pain.

That's all I got... For the hand's I just rub them all the time and stretch exercises for fingers and wrists..

hope it helps a bit.

let me know how you do.

I am not a Doctor. The information I give is from personal experience and reasearch. It is only advice.

Ditto....I just keep rubbing them but it doesn't make the numbness or pain go away. Just another symptom we have to learn to live with. Wink

Ditto here also. I don't know why we all have the same symptom. But most Dr don't seem to not get it. You are not along. Sometimes it hurts just to put feet on floor to walk. And dare not try to pick up anything. This is crazy. Gess it goes along with Fibromyalgia. I feel something new everyday.

I don't have numbness in my hands or feet, but I do in my left hip & leg where they hit a nerve when they did my bladder surgery last march. I've been taking Trileptal for the scoatica, which I think has helped tremendously. It's very annoying.
My views & suggestions are from my own experience or from research that I have conducted on my own. They ARE NOT to be used as a replacement for a professional opinion, so please take them as just that.

I have had it in my hands, left arm, and left foot. My doc has sent me twice for an MRI. He for some reason never puts it together with my Fibro. Keeps checking me for MS. Also had an EMG at a Neurologist and both were normal. The Neurologist told me that maybe I should see a psychiatrist. He thinks it's all in my head. Better believe I won't be seeing that man again! That statement always seems to piss me off immensely. He even is aware that I have Fibro. UGH!!!

Anyhow, mine comes and goes. But I have not found a way to relieve it. Just live with it. Sorry I have no actual advise. Just seems to be another symptom we must live with. I also have cold feet all the time, as someone above me mentioned.

I occasionally have my feet go numb. I only really notice it in the evenings, and after I've whacked my foot against something moving around. Smile

I have polyneuropathy of unknown origin. Meaning both my hands and both my feet have numbness and tingling and they don't know why. I also get it in my face and up my arms. It's loads of fun.
