I thought we could use a light, fun, even comical thread.......

Laughter is supposed to be the best medicine and if we can't laugh at ourselves, we are truly in trouble. Tongue

The positive side of Fibro for me is the money I have saved on-

TOILETRIES (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc.): I don't shower as often as I used to....it's just too much work! Smile

HAIR PRODUCT: I rarely fix my hair anymore.....it's just too much work! Smile

MAKEUP: I only do my makeup for special occasions......it's just too much work! Smile

CONDOMS: need I say it?.......IT'S JUST TOO MUCH WORK! Tongue

Thanks, Kristen. This is short. . . . . .why? Because it is too much work. Smile

haha! I have to laugh at myself daily or I might slip into the darkness, so thinking of funny things is much more fun! my hair is a hot messSmile the grow out from my highlights is so bad and the grey at my temples reminds me that i am 1/2 a century and the fact that I am freeezing so i'm still in my robe and slippers means I need something really entertaining on tv. my foghead entertains my family and sometimes makes me angry when I am very lucid and they still question meTongue Happy New year to allSmile

the positive side( if there can be one lol) for me is all the money I save on gas: I never go anywhere except to the docs, the wear and tear I save on my shoes which I never wear anymore, and all the extra exercise you get going back into every room you leave cuz you can't remember why you left in the first place.LOL We do need to laugh at ourselves or we'd spend a lot of time crying. th wittyandcharming 1

For me, it's all the extra time I get to spend with my family and friends and all the new blessings I have realized along the way. Then of course, all of the friends I have here Smile

kdgonz~ Thanks for starting this fun delightful thread!

Savings on bar soap because I shower less and shampoo and razors.

Don't have to buy boots, don't go out in the cold and snow.

Don't need as many clothes because stay in pj s

Weight loss and less groceries because when I sleep all day, I don't eat.

Exercise fingers by using keyboard on computer (after running them under the water)

What a fun discussion

Well;

I know which brands of t shirts are soft and remain soft after washing, which jammies are for shi$&. and read a lot of books and do a lot of knitting.

We have saved a fortune on bras

I have learned to play mah jong solitaire

I have completely broken my chair to the perfect place, no one else can sit in it and be comfortable, but no one else will......

I have learned the importance of listening with my heart, thank you Delly and Clarita, two people who listen with their hearts first, and their intellect second, an important thing to remember when everyone you talk to is probably hurting as badly as you are.

hugs and happy new year to everyone

gentle hugs and a peck on the cheek,
Natty
