I didn't think there were so many people out there with this ringing. I've had this for all my life, and I'm 52. I have never know what true silence is. I didn't know it was related to fibro either, that's interesting.

This may sound silly, but do you guys have actual "ringing"? Mine is more like cickets chirping. It is a non-stop pain in the booty. Sometimes I can block it out but most of the time I can't. Drives me up the wall when I try to go to sleep at night.

Snoop are you on eleval or paxil?- I have a friend with fibro who has TMJ. She also would wear down her night guard in like 6 months. Once she went off both those drugs she doesn't grind as much.

I am on Paxil but I have only been on it for the past 5 years or so I have been grinding my teet severley since I was a kid I have had the mouth gaurds for over 20 years. I know that stress is my biggest factor unfortunately it seems that stress is the story of my life I can never get away from it when one thing settles another starts. Thanks for the information

HI! chris here........are you looking at a TMJ blow out?The hinges can only take so much.Not tellin you

anything you don't know I'm shure.Yes & a serum in your marrow like Paxil is spous to take that

grinding away.No body can tell you not to worry in your sleep.I see clowns running the Gov. under

my bed,the realhorror is when I look they are really there!

I take500mg.s triptophen & 6 mg.s malitonin & get 7 hours sleep.Hyper vigilence I do

not need.It ill make you crazy baby. chris
