I feel like I have not been on here for a while, probably last week. I had a huge project for school due over the weekend and then I have been down for about 3 days. I have been having a horrible time. I think it is the weather.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi Cindy

Sounds like you were productive and accomplished what you needed to. We have had a terrific change in weather pattern here. We went from the 70s over last weekend and most of this week and today's high is around 50. Those changes wreak havoc with most of us. I feel chilled to the bone today. Grrrrrr. Hope you show some improvement soon.

Connie

The weather has been terrible and making alot of us feel just plain miserable, I am sure we are in for much more. But on the up side of things, my house is nice and warm from a woodstove fire and my heating pad and furbabies are close by. Cindychap, hope you feel better soon. And know that it's always good to take time for yourself. Hugs, Ann

The weather here in Maine has been really nice, unseasonably warm, in the 70s but that's all supposed to change tomorrow. The weather has not been much of a factor for me though, I have been feeling awful lately and can barely walk. I'm not sleeping and have had one doctor's appt. after another lately so that doesn't help. I'm having company in a few days and then next weekend, I'm taking my granddaughter for a week so her parents, mostly her pregnant mom can have some relaxing and alone time. I can't wait for her to get here, I hope I'm feeling better but if not, she's very good at understanding when mammy doesn't feel well, we have to do non physical stuff. She's so great about it, I'm very blessed Smile

Hi cindy! sorry you are not feeling well. Today i am a bit sore. but it's thursday and my final work day for the week so it's normal. Have a cold too so that doesn't help. I have been quiet in here the past week. Been reading and keeping up, but not voicing much. Too tired to type.

Weather here in and around atlanta has been crazy warm! in the 80's earlier this week. tonight supposed to change. I usually like the hot weather but this summer has been too hot! 8 weeks over 90! too hot to venture outside!

Hope you feel better soon!!

Thanks for replies. It is just what I needed to hear. Another reason I am so glad I found you guys. The rheumy I went too I really, really liked took a turn. She increased my amiptriptyline and I felt like I was going crazy the next day. I did not like the way it made me feel at all, plus morning headaches still there, so I called her and told her I was stopping it and what she wanted to do. She wants me to see a neurologist for my headadches. I have been handed off to every kind of specialist there was in the past. I am not doing this song and dance again, so I made an appointment with my PCP and saw her today to see if she could treat me for everything and just prescribed my medicines. She said my condition was so complex she did not feel comfortable. However, she is going to find me another rheumatologist for a second opinion, so since I am only seeing the endocrinologist for my thyroid because my other hormone levels seem to be normalizing she can handle that. Therefore, I guess two physicians are not that bad. I used to see five.

Just thinking about you. Love DebiSmile

My PCP said the same thing too. She was not comfortable because she was not comfortable to write scripts for the medicine combination they have me on because it is not her area? She never called the insurance company like they said she was going to about my Cymbalta and my insurance company does not cover it. I have been living on samples and I cannot do that for the rest of my life. Plus, the rheumatologist I seen last time said if I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield it should be covered. She said if they did not cover Cymbalta, then Suvella would not be covered either, and then walked out and that was that. Did not say she would call or anything. I mean I should know what I am talking about when Walgreens said it was not covered it was not covered, so I am not sure what that was about. Hopefully, the new rheumy my PCP is going to send me to will have some more solid answers and actually do something. I thought this female rheumy I seen was going to be a great one, but I was wrong.

The weather has finally been gorgeousssss for this one week and I'm stuck in the hospital for close to a month ughhh!!! I feel absolutely terrible in unbearable pain as usual since I've lived in a constant flare for the past several years. I truly hope this treatment plan works so I have a chance of getting back some quality of my life. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs Smile
