Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say that today for the first time I started taking my Cymbalta in the morning instead of at night before I go to bed.

I will let you all know if it makes a difference in how I feel. I have not been feeling good at all!!!Dizzy

Does anyone else take their dose in the mornings?

please let me know if you do and how it is working for you...

Thanks friend's

Good morning, justkeepgoing,

Odd that you should post about changing when you take your Cymbalta as I have just done the same thing within the past week ~~~

I was taking mine early morning (6:30 AM due to going to work everyday). I would get extremely exhausted/sleepy about lunchtime, sludge my way thru the afternoon and collapse on the couch as soon as I got home shortly after 4 PM.

When I complained of this to PCP, he suggested taking it with lunch to see if that would make a difference. So far, I think it is making a difference ~~~

I had to do the same with my Lyrica ~~~ I was originally taking 1 morning and 1 with evening meal. I now take it at bedtime .

Crazy, huh ?

I could not take my cymbalta at night at ALL!!! It kept me up and I had horrible side effects. Taking it in the am worked great for me, although I can't take more that 60mg. When I tried to go up it messed with my sleep again, although I dont' think we ried taking the whole 90 in the am, that may have worked. Good Luck!!!

Marilyn, that is funny... Hope it works for us both. Are you on Lyrica and Cymbalta?

PCG & theLeash, I am only on 60mg, did not know there was a 90mg. Maybe that's why it's not working for me?? hmmm something to ask the DR. thanksSmile

Shamarie, thank you for wishing us well Wink

Hi justkeepgoing,

I could not take the 90 it made me nervous and kept me awake. I tried taking 60 twice a day, but unfortunately it did not help me. Good luck. I hope you find something that works well for you.

Hugs~

Hi-

I have taken my 60mg in the morning with no problems and no side effects at all, today my doctor upped me to 90mg so we will see how that works with taking it in the morning. I was thinking of splitting it 60mg in morning and 3omg at night but I really am hoping one day to sleep through the night and if it keeping people awake when they take it at night, not a really good idea for me.

I take Cymbalta and really have had great luck with it. I started out with 60 mg and always take it in the morning. Then doc added 30 more mg but had me take the 30 in the afternoon. I never had any problems with it at all. I recently went back down to 60 mg but that had nothing to do with side effects, it was what the insurance company is requiring that I try. I still take it in the morning though, funny how different we all are. Good luck to all of you, hope the changes work!
