I have started a blog and would love for you to read it and comment. I need support!

I live in a lot of pain sometimes and sometimes I am perfectly fine. Fibro is such a strange syndrome and very few family and friends feel any sympathy for me. It's difficult to live with it.

Sweetheart

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. You don't need to be. You need to get a dr that will help you, and you need to goto counseling with your husband to get the support you need. There is no reason to feel guilty, although, that is part of the acceptance of the disease. It's not fair to any of us, to have this terrible disease. It is real. Your husband needs to goto the appt s with you and help you through this. I know the feeling of wanting the pain to be seen. We all do.

Please make sure to get some pain medicine and medicine that will work for you. Once again, there is no reason for you to lay in pain. We are all here for you. This forum is awesome to receive support and vent as you need.

I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

Thanks! I appreciate your comments. I currently am taking Tramadol and a muscle relaxer to sleep. I also take Buspirone and Cymbalta for my depression and OCD. Geez! I sound so crazy when I admit all of that. I look pretty normal from the outside...teacher, mother, christian. Tramadol works most of the time but recently during this flare up, I've not had as much luck with it. I am moving soon and stressed out to the max. I have a ton of work at school and home. So, I guess it's all just compounding right now. I go to a rheumo but I thought about checking into a neurologist. What do you all think?

You can go check out a neuro but they will prob tell you to continue with your rheumy most do. You should ask someone about that Cymbalta/Tramadol combo. Have someone double check the mix for reassurance. I've been told the risk of Seratonin Syndrome is high on those meds especially. I had to stop taking Tramadol with Lithium and was not able to try Cymbalta but do remember a few people on here saying they couldn't take those meds together for the same reason as me. Your dr or even local pharmacist can confirm that for you. Good luck! Wink

Rebecca - I was thinking about seeing a neurologist too, just in case they have some good advice. Let me know if you do go, and what you think of it!

I pray relief is headed your way!!

Love,

Annamarie
