I know that one of the symptoms of Fibro is fatigue. I have the pain and from day to day it changes one day I may not feel too bad and the next like I have a serious case of the flu or down right pain that feels like i have been beat. With all of that though, the thing I have to most trouble with is fatigue. I am having a hard time with it. After my kids have left for school, I lay back down and don't get up until about 2; after that about 4 I take a two hour or so nap and for the past few nights about 8 or 9 I fall asleep for another hour or so and then of course at night I have problems sleeping but still get in 3-4 hours so total I sleep about 13 to 15 hours sleep a day but I cannot stand this any longer, I cannot get anything done or if I start sometime I cannot finish it. Tonight, we went to pick my daughter up from a rally we had at our church. My husband was driving (when I am like this I do not drive much because if I am awake alot of times I am out of it) anyway, I feel asleep in the car. It was kind of funny because when I woke up, I had to sit there to figure out where I was anyway, he said a couple of our friends had stopped by and was laughing at me because I was so out of it--don't worry I will get them back lol. But, do any of you have this extreme fatigue and what do you do for yours? I have tried walking but it just made me hurt and tired.

I'm an Advocate

yes I have the same proplem and don't know how to stop being tired. My family teases me that I could fall asleep during an earthquake. lol I take at least 2 naps a day and still sleep 3-4 hours a night. To get anything done I have to try to multi-task and well... that doesn't always work cuz of ya know... what do you call that? oh yeah , fibro fog.

I'm not a medical professional, I can only offer advice,if you need medical attention please see a medical professional.
