MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

Hello my wonderful fibro family! I hope everyone's Monday has been a pleasant one. I had an appointment with my ENT today. I have another polyp in my throat and the only choice he's giving me is to quit smoking now. I had cut waaaay down, from 2 packs a day to just 10 cigs and was planning on another small cutback, but after today, that's out of the question. I'm gonna go cold turkey(i hope). I'm still awating a referral to a fibro specialist......*sigh*. I need lots of good vibes to get thru this...Hugs~Sydney

Sending lots of positive vibes your way! As an ex-smoker I understand how difficult quitting can be! But, you CAN do it!! Smile

Sydney, Sending a blue whale size of positive vibes your way right now. Also, an ex-smoker so know how hard it is to quit- it was prayer along with meditation that helped me to finally quit on my third attempt- that was 14 years ago. You can do it!! Will be your cheerleader, for sure!

State all the positive reasons for quitting- cite them to yourself regularly.

Have a money box where you can put all the money you would use for cigarettes in it- then with the savings you can treat yourself to lots of pampering gifts.

If you need any help with quitting then please feel free to pm me.

Massive gentle hugs, love ClaritaSmile dolphin hugs
