I dont know what is wrong with me today! Im actually having quite a good pain day (good pain? does that make sense?) but i feel so sad. It started yesterday, i was a bit quiet, sad & emotional but it got better as the day went on. Today is a different story. I just feel so fed up! I'm crying at the drop of a hat, when im alone i want company, when ive got company i want to be on my own. Everyone & everything are getting on my nerves. I just cannot be arsed with anything. I have so much to do & cant be bothered! I have bills that need paying, a home that needs tidying & cleaning, ironing that needs doing but i cant find the strength to do any of them. The bills wouldnt be too difficult as theres only a couple but it involves phoning people Sad Whenever i phone people i dont know the trouble starts! I cant get my words out, i cant understand what they are saying Aaaaaargh!!!!! Ive just had enough..
"When things go wrong and they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
Its when things go wrong when you mustn't quit"

I'm so sorry you're having a bad day. I can understand how you feel - I had a day like that yesterday. Maybe you just need to do something fun - forget about everything you need to do and just relax. hee hee - that's what I'm doing today! I hope your day gets better!

Do you have more days like this or do you have more good days? I am with you today. I have those days way to often. It is terrible when the little things like paying a bill is such a big project. Have you tried doing something that takes little effort but makes you happy? I had a rough night last night..plus I am out of my pain meds and I am really down and in a ton of pain, so i am staying on this site all day!!!! I am hanging out with my kids in my room, enjoying them and reading posts. It at least helps me forget about the pain a bit.

We all have these days there's nothing wrong with you. It's okay and tomorrow will be better. Have some ice cream or something that makes you smile. Smile

I had one of those days yesterday and am taking it easy today. I hope you feel better soon. Have you tried taking a long bubblebath or anything to pamper yourself? Perhaps that might help? Usually I am like you said, either am lonely or want to be left alone. I think it's all a part of this horrible condition we have to live with. Keep telling yourself tomorrow will be better.

Hugs,

mid

I'm an Advocate

{{{emma}}} I m sorry you re having a rough stretch here recently.

Like others said , do something special for yourself or when I get in your position, I choose ONE thing to tackle. Once it is done, I ll try a second one etc.

Most times this works for me but when it doesn t I just sit with a good book or even take a nap...the rest of the world be darned (as far as I m concerned right then.)

Thank you all for your support.

Im feeling a bit better today, my friend popped round earlier so we had a great girlie gossip & i went to watch her daughters swimming lesson so that helped.

Im thinking tomorrow is a day at the shops, im sure that'll cheer me up a bit! And saturday is mine & OH's 2nd anniversary...diamonds always cheer me up!!! Laughing

Thanks again, hope you're all well {{{hugs}}}

Diamonds are a girl's best friend!

These days come and go, Emma. Just keep your chin up and know that tomorrow will be a better day.

Have you tried online banking to pay your bills? I hate talking to people on the phone, and I love online banking. It simplifies the process.

I also have to agree with Auntie's idea. Choose one thing, get it done, then move on to the next. I forget this a lot, but when I apply it, it always works.

Chin up, sweety. You'll be okay.

Emma, I hope you have a wonderful anniversary and the least you deserve is diamonds. I hope he gets those, plus roses, chocolates, candles, all the things girls love! I'm glad you are feeling better!

*hugs*
