MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

i would definently talk to a doctor to make sure that it is not something else. you do not want to assume that it is just the fibro, because it could be something else. i have read that chiari 1 is common in many fibro cases. i have chiari 1 and it gives me extrememly bad headaches. ive had every time of headache so im sure that i have suffered from the stabbing sensation. but i would definently call to double check and make sure everything is ok

Hi mollymae,

I get a lot of headaches. I have a migraine at least 3 times a month. But of late, they aren't lasting as long as they use to, only 1 full day and 1/2, compared to 3 1/2. And then what I call my "normal" headaches all in between that takes all kinds of shapes and forms. Do you get dizzy or nauseated?

Fibro Warriors do tend to have a lot of headaches, migraines especially. Sharp stabbing pain does sound like a migraine.. Cluster headaches are like migraines that do not want to go away, and it is very hard to break their cycle.

Here are some links for you:

hope this helps,

you absolutely should be talking to your doctor about this....do call

My month long head aches are what originally sent me to the doctor. Make sure you let your doctor know so that they can rule out any other issues. I went years with a daily head ache. It progressed to daily migraines that lasted for months! Since starting the gabapentin, my daily headaches are gone and my migraines are now limited to about one a week! It is a wonderful feeling Smile
