Things that make my fibro symptoms worse are

Overdoing it with cleaning, work, or running around.

Stress

Foods that aggrivate me may not cause anything to someone else so don't take this to heart as things to make fibro worse. It's just my list. you can try to keep track of your diet to avoid things that affect you.

Alcohol

Heavy carbs potatoes, fries, pasta

My beloved chocolate Sad

Red meat

And I swear that purple lettuce that comes in the mixed bags of salad. Call me crazy but I think it causes me to hurt. Blink

Lasagna, hamburger buns

I am beginning to think onions actually make my skin burn, you know that prickley irritating feeling

Long car rides (get out and stretch)

To much exercise

Strong perfumes or strong smells in general (I get a headache everytime!) Does anyone else get this?

Smells definitely make me worse- also makes me sick to my stomach. Too much house cleaning really sets me in a fit. I try to pace myself but you know how it is- sometimes you just want to be done so you push and push and then pay for it later. I will agree to the stress prob #1. Then anxiety. They are like hand in hand. Worry. Stress. and then comes the pain. Oh it really does stink.

wltnorris ~ Have you found certain foods that always trigger your nausia or does it change and you just never know what's going to set it off?

Honestly I dont notice one certain thing- Sometimes it is something Ive made forever- last week I made cheesebread and took to lunch for my husband almost gagged coming home in the van. And you know I havent been watching close enough to see if any certain foods trigger extra pain- but I need to start- I have acid reflux too so I know there are some things that really bother that-

Does anything special give you more nausea? I know I have to be careful with my perfumes too- somedays they are ok but others no way- to be honest havent used much lately its not worth it! I do think its worse at night time tho- what about you?

Um my nausia comes and goes. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason. Except, come to think of it, if I don't eat all day and then smell something cooking. You know when you pass the point of hungry and are just blah. But no certain food smells in general.

Here are my pain aggravators:

Cold (or cool) damp and rainy days

Running alot of errands.

Cleaning house/exercising too much.

Getting stressed out.

Doing yard work.

Eating sugar. Angry

Perfumes, paint, insect spray, heavy duty cleaners, most chemical type smells make me very nauseated and give me a bad headache. I've been chemically sensitive for years.
