Hello everyone,

I am so sorry that I have not gotten back with you, but it has been a long weekend. Mom was in surgery a lot longer than expected for stents. They almost gave up. She had basically a 100% blockage. The doc said he could get nothing more than something as small as a strand of hair. After 4 hours of surgery, they successfully put stents into mom's blocked artery. He said he knew she would never make it through bypass surgery so he kept trying and made it through the last time. He said he would have quit if it had not worked that time. We were all very alarmed that it was taking so long.

On Thursday might I developed severe pain in my lower abdomen area and also in my back. The pain is still bad. I went to doc and they think I have kidney stones. They sent me for an x-ray right away and I should have the results tomorrow. The pain isn't too bad with the pyridium and vicoden es working, but I feel like I am going to give birth. The pain is just like I am in labor. If anyone has experienced it, you will know what I am talking about.

Thank you for all of your prayers and caring, it means so much to me.

Love and Hugs~

Christine

Good to know your mum's surgery went well in the end, and and so thankful for that doc who kept trying!

Best wishes to you, hope they can treat those stones, or whatever it is, soon and you can feel better Smile
