Today I have noticed that if I drink more water than usual I reduce some of the pain. I do drink water but today I drank more than I usually do and I noticed 30 to an hour later that I was feeling a little bit better. I do get dehydrated though sooo that was probably part of it. I only like cold water and my teeth are very sensative to the cold. anyways I found some help for my pain.

I found that to be true also. In general I think that I am really senitive to any little change in my body. I notice that I have more pain if I do not eat enough as well. Little things that I never noticed bothering me before fibro. I have recently noticed that if I sweat during the day not only do I need more fluid but I need to replace the salt as well. So I get to eat potato chips when I sweat. Yippy!

I loveee water! I never was a big water drinker but always wanted to drink more I knew it was good for you I also have to drink it ice cold. I started on Lithium which is just like it sounds (the elemant) it's salt based so it's a must to drink plenty of water or it will cause dehydration. Nothing sugary. I like to buy the 24 packs of Poland Spring even though hubby works for Coca Cola and they distribute Dasani haha. Oh well I prefer my Poland Spring bottles. Wink

hehehe, I'll try the water thing, I always forget to drink enough, and now it's cold here, so even more :O

A good way to rehidrate, and remember to drink enough water (I used to do it until I started to work out all day and couldn't anymore) is to keep a bottle of water in the refrigerator with one tea spoon of baking soda, it helps the body to cleanse and water absorption Smile

Very funny Scotty, now beam down my clothes!

They don't give away anything you want. He can have drinks while he's there and if he wants the glass bottles there's an old fashioned machine there for .10 he can get regular bottles to take home for .50 rather than 1.59 at a corner store. While he's working fixing a machine though they can get them fresh right off the line. Wink Every so often they give out pallets of free stuff. One day he came home with lie 10-12 fridge packs of Dr Pepper cans another time when Dasani came out with the new design bottle of flavored water in the 9 packs we got about 20 of those but I don't love those so we gave most of them away. Water helps me too. I have got my family drinking more water. The trick I found is to keep the bottled water in the ref. where it is easy to grab and go.
