As this summer goes on I seem to be getting worse and worse. This is the worst I have ever been! With the pain and the fogginess I just dont know what else to do. I dont have insurance so I take OTC pain meds but have to be careful with those even! I for get people's orders a few sec after taking the orders, I forgot my work shirt yesterday and so on and so forth. Anyways I am done ranting!

That was a rant?? You've got to do better than that, girlfriend! You've just shared your frustrations with us in a very healthy, expressive way; maybe you could call it a vent... Whistling

Have you tried every avenue of free health or mental health clinics in your area? Some can give you samples of your prescription meds to tide you over until you can get insurance or until they run out...but it's something! In the meantime, some charitable or government clinics offer care for free or on a sliding scale. I had to use our county clinic for a period when I had [i]no income, and they were very capable and caring! And, if you qualify, some pharmaceutical companies give free meds to no- or low-income patients. Give it a go if you haven't already...I don't like to "see" you in such pain!

This is probably more advice than you need...so I'll just offer you my hugs and prayers - and hope you have a better day! Cheerful

I agree with Jeni. That didn't seem like a rant to me. I further think you should check into getting samples of meds first from your doc's office and then often you can get meds from pharmaceutical companies at a reduced cost. It is worth giving it a try. You might be able to get enough samples and no or low cost meds to at least know whether something is going to help you out.

I hope you feel better soon! I hate it that you are hurting and feeling foggy!

Hugs,

Red

Hang in there, Friend, better days are ahead ~~~ Smile

Summer heat and humidity are my enemies also ~~~ Certainly cannot take it like I used to and I love being outdoors this time of year.

I agree with what Red suggested ~~~ I have a friend without a job and insurance and once her dr. found out, he sees her for appts. but has been giving her Cymbalta (and something else I can t remember) and she is now improved .

It can t hurt to ask ~~~

Take care and Prayers being said ~~~

Marilyn
