Hey Stacey,

Glad to hear you are getting up with your walker. Funny that you sneak off to record him. That's hysterical. I don't have a huge update but I'll tell ya what I know.

I went to the Rheumatologist in Salt Lake. He did lots of labs and I go back in 3 weeks for a "pow wow" talk. I'm weaning off my prednisone slowly and just taking one day at a time. I guess that's all I can do. I have osteopenia already, in my neck mainly. I guess that explains my pain there. HA..Anyways, That's my update. Talk soon.

Hi sweetie Smile

My Pc went nuts again, been on my brother`s laptop since yesterday Tongue which means I`m not warned when new messages are posted and I have no spell checker Tongue

Digital cameras do that sometimes, they mess up with the contrast on the skin dpending on the light, showing stuff you can`t see on naked eye, it probably just means that your skin is also tired and some spots are more dried than others Tongue

News here down south... Martin had a job interview on Friday, it`s a nice job if he gets it, with a good pay. He has to do blood and urine rutine tests on Monday and they`ll let him know sometime after that, so we are keeping our fingers crossed Smile I went to the doc last week and he said I`m on remission! because I have just 4 tender spots and they didn`t even hurt that much Smile he told me that I`ll keep on tkaing the Pristiq for 6 months and if I keep on remision all that time he`ll take me out of the meds :O I was really surprised that places and spots that had ALWAYS hurt were not hurting when he examined :O

Hope you get to go home soon sweetie, and I wish someone else would go visit today!

Hope you are resting and feel better soon Smile

Hugs and lots of love

Paula

Well my blood is fine i'm so messed up who knows but that's a great thing! Noo transfusions, my procedure could still possibly turn out to be a success!!! Smile Now for the bad news against Pauls better judgement I took my Lithium being at 1.20 highest is 1.25 he wanted me to stop because I have had Lithium Toxicity before as some of you may remember and he kept swearing I was toxic again. I didn't want to compromise her stupid test so took the Lithium. She came in and said the good news is the procedure didn't cause it bad news is you are at 1.40!! WTF?!?? She said I'm sorry but it seems you could be toxic ohh now they believe me. Before, is it possible I take too many drugs and can't keep my eyes open! I said you have YOUR blood drained then basically poisoned and let me ask you that!

I asked for stronger pain meds for where that port was only when it was real bad but my only offer was IV Toradol instead of Dilaudid or something similar so being the smarty I am I said immed I cannot take Toradol it's an anti inflammatory, I can't take a few things with Lithium that's a big thing, Paul was right there. I refused it, She came back said you are allowed to take it but only for a short term use she said her med thing said no more than 5 days. I asked why can't I take the stupid things what's the interaction she said long terrm use would be incorrect depletion of the Lithium!!! Meaning it wouldn't leave my system and continue to build up in my system. Hmm sounds like what it did to med in 5 days and I had to come up with this one all by my lethargic onsie Tongue The neuro who found out I was given crappy Toradol was not too happy because they could have stopped it so I came here hoping to feel better now I'm feeling worse with leg motion ughh! When we asked what my levels were when I got here since they always check!! She said 140 lol I said so it was 140 then 120 now 140 again she said umm yes. I said that's so impossible what date was that? November 5th or 6th!! Isn't that when you checked in? Umm omg seriously that was like yesterday and mysteriously my last day of Toradol shots. She was shaking looking through the papers and apparently that was the first day my Lithium was checked, BULL!!!

An old lady just had a seizure over a half hour ago in her room THEN called "Seizure Service STAT 6 West" all crazy now she needs intubation maybe they should act a little quicker myyyy God!!!

It's so crazy here right now I am NOT staying here, it sounds like Sunday night football in all the rooms! Are they kidding allowing people to be that noisy? I need my Neuro, Paul will take better care of me Sad

<3

Love ya all <3

Oh dear! I'm so sorry about this! How can they be so careless? even more with all you had to go through!

I wish things would go easy on you, at least once... I hope you get to go home and feel better soon... I'm sure you need lots of love right now, real warm love from people you can see and hear, I wish I could give you more than words, yet is all I have. Be sure that you are loved, all around the world there's people loving you and thinking of you, wishing you the best with all the strength they can muster.

All the way down to Paraguay there's someone thinking of you always, reading a book besides the PC to be alert to new messages hoping good news come in them or to have the right thing to say if bad news show up.

There's no end to the tests you endure, yet we know there's no end to your strength, you are so brave and bold you can not be defeated, no matter what, I know you'll come around, you'll win in the end.

Love

Paula

Stacey, I can't believe how these people can get it SO wrong with your Lithium levels. I mean do they have any idea how crucial it is to keep the levels correct? Ibruprofen? I thought that odd at the time, but bowed to their superior knowledge ... oh duh, this is a hospital, I forgot! Seriously, Please get your levels sorted asap, you don't want this on top of everything else Sick

I'm sorry it's chaotic there, sounds like end of week madness. Feel reassured by the fact that you'll be out of there soon. How's Paul doing? When do you think you'll be able to go home?

Oh yes, GREAT news that your blood's fine and you won't have to use anyone else's. Things are looking up there Smile

Going to bed soon and will try not to fall asleep until after I've prayed for you Wink sending good night ((hugs))

Love you Kissing

I am going home tonight!!!! The neuro was hesitant at first but when I explained Paul she wanted to go home and get doted on too lol. She did ask how my walking was I said better with the walker but without it not so good, I told her I snuck and tried a few steps when nobody was looking. She said it's normal but also with the Plasma Exchange I can expect many more results as I go, unexpected results can just happen. She said this is far from the end W00t Now I just need to get my stuff together for the most part lol what I can reach. I kept everything together for myself Wink I kept all my clothes in my bag Tongue I just need to get my little stuff out of my sliding table drawer and my nightstand drawer lol. Thankfully I sent stuff home with Paul after I changed a few times I sent dirty clothes home with him so I have a little extra room Wink If he didn't get sick before he would have been able to get this bag of lil soda cans Ive been stashing away Tongue Speaking of I just had to call and put a small order in so I could get 4 last sodas lmbo!!! I can't wait to wash my hair!!! Me and my showerrr chair lol. Smile I have alot of hairspray flakes from redoing my hair ewww lol. After my shower I'm laying with Paul on my couch with my big comfy white blanky. I'm sooo freaken excited. Talk to you soon! Love to all <3
