 I have a appointment with a Rheumatolist that believes diagnoses and treats patients with Fibromyalgia!!! I am so excited Thank you Jesus!!! I have felt like there was no where to go and now at least there is a little light at the end of the tunnel. I hope! Pray that this doctor is the right doctor for me. I really understand that there are many kinds of doctors and I really need a caring one right about now.

 {{{Spiritfilled}}} I am so happy for you that you have found a Rhuemy and I will pray with you that he/she is the right one for you.

When is it that you finally get to see him/her ?

Please write down everything (feelings, questions etc.) between now and then and take the notes with you. If he/she accepts that you are taking your own best interest in coping with medical issues and medications, then he/she is the right one.

Please keep us/me posted regarding your appt. ( Feel free to PM me anytime if you don t want to post here).

Meanwhile, I am thinking positive thoughts for a good relationship with your new dr.

 Well I was supposed to get into see them on next Wednesday but about 20 mins later they called me back and said we have a cancellation we can get you in on Monday how would that work for you? Oh my goodness I hope that this is going to be that special doctor! So Monday at 10am.

 Kristi, This is truly a gift!! Please follow the advice to list everything that's been going on. I keep a symptoms journal and write in it often. In the beginning I wrote in it almost every single day. I would write about anything that was "off" because I never knew what was related and what was not. I had a rheumy ask to read it once, so some of them will really use it as good insight! I wish you lots of luck and will keep you in my thoughts on Monday that you get the pain meds you have needed.

I have my first counselor appt on Monday afternoon. Hoping that cognitive behavioral therapy as suggested by my new rheumy will help me deal with my daily pain.
