Hi everyone. I have been having this terrible pain in my hands and feet. With my hands, it starts on the outside of the arm and goes up to my pinky and ring fingers. It hurts so bad. My feet feels like I have been walking in a marathon. Is this fibro related? This pain has brought me to tears. This just started with this flare (heat related).

I am so frustrated. I am so tired of being in pain and not enjoying life. I'm only 34 but feel like I'm 94. I want to break up with my couch. LOL, it's become my new best friend. Sorry I got off track, I need to vent a little.

Its all a nerve thing, many of us have the same issues so we can relate to it. I am sorry I know how frustrating it can be. I hope it lets up soon and I can also relate to what you said about the age thing its actually in my signature lol. Tongue

My nest actually involves pillows, a comforter, a snuggie, water bottle, heating pad, stack of magazines and books, the remotes, Dove chocolate squares and a laptop. And sometimes a big snuggly rottweiler, if she feels like leaving her little arthritis nest. She has a little orthopedic mattress, blankie and pillows, toys, treats and water, just on the other side of the coffee table. Today we acquired a ficus and a fan. We're quite a sight.

I definitely have hand and feet issues, that's one of my most constant symptoms and the one that will end my career. I believe it's been recommended here before but there are those sweet microwaveable mitts and slippers. And gentle massage of course!

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV.

lol Smile Yes, I get the hand/finger pain too. And painful feet, although some light massage seems to help with the feet. Somedays I have a hard time picking up my coffee mug! And then there's those "stupid hands" days - when they feel like they aren't really connected and not functioning very well.

I get the 'breaking up with your couch" thing... very funny! And I can really relate. I have a cat who pretends to like me when I use one special blanket. She prefers to lay on my book, of course! And I can't get comfy laying down-achy hips and then if I lay on back, I get a tightness around my midsection and I can't breathe. My newest quest is to ask the doc for a prescription for a lazy-boy! lol So far, no luck, but I'll keep asking! lol

I hope things improve for all of you!

Oh, and totally off topic, I was in Safeway on Saturday and saw the funniest things! They actually have microfiber slippers, with little microfiber 'rags' that velcro on the bottom. Put 'em on your feet and walk and sweep at the same time! Guess what everyone's getting this christmas! lmao So funny! I wonder if they come in cat paw sizes??? Wink

This dog would soooo not fit in my lap! But she tries! She thinks she is a cat too. She sleeps all day, licks her paws and tries to curl up on you. But she is so massive, we can only snuggle. Sometimes I use her as a pillow.

I think you may need more pillows, blueshel. I'll send you 3 rottweilers.

My hands and feet are the parts of my body that usually hurt the most! I was out in the sun on Sunday and this always makes my pain soooo much worse. It's hard for me to type this right now and it drives me crazy! Wish I could just not be in pain all the time, but I know that all of us on here feel this way.
