thanks guys. i'm just so tired, so sore...they are trying to get me to quit...i spoke to someone here today (the one person I trust here) who said that they won't fire me because they don't want to pay their part of unemployment. I turned down a new chair months ago because this one was fine...but now it's awful and it's the best one in the place. they are trying to get me to quit. i only wish i could quit today. i just don't want to come back here ever.

Don't give in Cornbread. My former employer made my job hell on me trying to get me to quit. I kept at it and told my friend they were going to have to fire me. They did. But I got my unemployment out of it and a chance for training at a different job thru the employment office.

they won't fire me because they know they have to pay part of the unemployment. the owner's so tight he squeaks when he walks. it's a terrible situation. i could run around there naked and wouldn't get fired. ugh!

Well, that's a good mental picture, Cornbread...

My heart hurts for your sadness and i pray for a light at the end of your tunnel. you know, my lil' sis has bad rheumatoid arthritis and one of her good doctors once told her to get a set of dvds...any that were extremely funny to her. she was told to watch them in her darkest moments. she went from Lucille Ball to Will n' Grace...kind of a drastic shift there, but it really worked for her. do you have anything like that?

i chose the 'friends' episodes for mine, though i don't like some of the show topics. i thought if i watched and laughed only in the company of my husband it wouldn't matter so much. it truly helps me get the good endorphines running around

{{great big hugs}} for you. i am having a tough time at my job for the first time. the fog makes it so difficult to make 'on demand' decisions and my supervisors are starting to notice...no matter that i have been a good employee for the past ten years.

You are good, you ARE worth it, and you MATTER. just because our bums burn doesn't mean that we are any less capable of great deeds...it just takes us longer so...what kind of superhero powers does THAT give us??...hmmm...

anyway, i digress much...have as good of a night as possible, cornbread. i wish you a much better day tomorrow.

tomorrow will be great. i'm off and gonna take it easy all day. Honey made me promise to never go downstairs unless it's a life or death emergency. He's afraid I'll fall- did that once already and spent 5 hours in a neck brace on a back board. no fun. so i can't go downstairs and i hurt. i'm probably gonna play world of warcraft!!!

YEAH...another WoW addict I played alot last year, but not so much with my new job duties...not new job...just new duties.

I am off today, too. i am actually trying to locate a better job, thought still at the university. even though my current job is much tougher, i am terribly nervous about applying. i don't want to get my hopes up and being 'over qualified' can really hurt sometimes. oh well...i am going today to update my job app so we'll see. i am hopeful

have an awesome day...who do you play? i am always an elf ranger. i tried being other races, but i just have a real need to look cute online

LOL That's funny. I have a couple regular characters. I have a Dranei hunter and a human paladin. We have 3 accounts in this house and we all play. My husband is a night elf priest and my youngest son is the one who started us all on this thing. We can't wait for the expansion. My hunter is Cornbread and my pally is Amma. I'm on Uldaman. What server are you on?

Ok Tiff and cornbread. I just woke up and your's was the first post of the day that I read. If I didn't know better, I'd swear that you were talking in a different language. Talk about confusing an old lady. WOW!>

You should try and find another job one that won't stress you out so much. Take care

I'm trying...but the economy here is particularly rough. There are also a ton of jobs that get snatched up by the college students first (huge university, small town) so it's hard to hire a fat old lady when there are all those young kids who'll do anything for beer money.

LOL Jan, we play world of warcraft, an online video game. My kid got me started. Now I can't wait for Spore to come out...it's a new game too.
