If you guys remember my daughter came down with strep throat a few days ago. We my 1 year old just started to run a fever too last night and sure enough white spots. So she has strep throat too. Well I woke up this morning after being at the hospital all day yesterday with a high fever and feeling horrible. So went to the doctor and YUP I have strep throat too. Please pray for us. My husband can only take today off and I know I am going to feel horrible for a few days. And I have to watch two sick girls and myself for the rest of the week. I feel so horrible I have been throwing up and I ache everywhere! At least he gave me some pain meds so I am going to just keep myself very drugged and hope I can handle the girls. Even though I am supposed to just lay around all day.

Oh my gosh...I'm so sorry! When it rains, it pours.

I know you have a rough few days ahead of you. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Good luck to you. Why don't you guys just keep the blinds closed, heat up some chicken noodle soup and have a movie day. That's what me and the boys do when we are sick.

Yeah we are now all on antibiotics. And yes we have done the same just have a movie day and relax. Unfortunately with such young kids they hardly ever stay in the same spot for to long. I am sure I will figure something out. Thanks for all your concern. Once again i love this forum.

My pediatrician suggested using the nighttime medicine during the day as well, so the kids will actually lay around and get the rest they need. Maybe you could ask your pediatrician about doing that? It works well for us and I can also get the rest I need. HTH

That's going to be a handfull for a couple of days. Someone already took my suggestion of crawling under the covers with your kids and watching movies all day long. Or even play lets see who can sleep the longest. LOL.

Good luck to you and I hope someone can come over and help you out.

Chicken noodle soup with tons of crackers has always helped me out.

Hugs and wishes for a really fast recovery.

May your troubles be less, Your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door!
