I've noticed that there have been "a Lot" of posts lately that are under the wrong place. Please make sure that you're putting your topics in the appropriate place.

If you're unsure on how to do so, here's how:

In the upper left hand corner of the screen you will see 'FMS Forums'. When you click that, you have the following choices: Introductions & Personal Stories, General & Support, Medicine & Treatments, and the Off Topic Lounge.

Examples of what should go into each:

Introductions & Personal Stories- Newbies should post here when describing themselves in an introduction. Also, when you want to share "your" personal Fibro experience.

General & Support- Anytime you need support. Also, if it doesn't belong in one of the other categories.

Medicine & Treatments- When you're talking about meds, what types of treatments you're having, and/or if you're questioning about clinic or med research.

Off Topic Lounge- Use this when you're sharing poems, talking about pets, songs, books, etc.

When you post something in any topic within the forum- it WILL always show up in the FMS Group area (select at top left of page/list). No one needs to search each of these topics each time. Everyone will still easily see each post.

If you ever are questioning where to put your topic- Please, contact a group leader and we'll be happy to help you.

That is a good reminder. I am sure I'm guilty of posting in the wrong area.

You would think it would be pretty straight forward, but when you are in a specific are like this one for example, more than half the bulletins at the top of the posts belong under another category, according to your definition.

Maybe it would be help us if you move those to the proper place (and get rid of the ancient ones). Because when folks see topics like that then they are going to post same. Don't you think?

Its good someone brought this up. I also have noticed that sometimes when some people respond to a discussion they enter their reply under [Start a New Discussion.] When you reply to a particular discussion you need to enter it under post reply. Otherwise we wind up with multiple post under the same topic. Just as we had now with the Ten Worst....

OK, I know I just posted something under the wrong section. Hopefully I will remember these reminders. Being a newbie, it's probably going to take a little while. Thanks for the direction,

Jean Marie

THANK YOU, AND WE'RE SORRY...WE'LL TRY TO DO BETTER! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!

All of the Group Leaders are supportive of each other, and we stand together on this issue.

And, if you keep sending out the same remark as you have been putting out, you might want to re-check your spelling. And did anybody ever tell you that to use all caps, that it is the same as hollering?

Again, group leaders stand united.

I see that you keep posting that we are posting in the wrong place but when I am responding to somebody and it happens that it might be popping up in the wrong place, I always try to tie it in to the subject heading because I wouldn't know how to move it to the right place.

If you see that something is being posted in the wrong area, just contact a group leader and we can see about moving it. The one thing that I want to bring up is the search engine. I just typed in the search engine Lyrica "Web Results 1 - 10 of about 1,640 from www.mdjunction.com for lyrica" This is why we need to use the search so someone does not have to read all of the different posting. We are just trying to organize things to make life a little easier for those of us that have a tough life. Check out the search engine if you do not understand what I am saying or PM me.
