I think Chris would like that! He could get the "male" perspective from hubby to hubby with dealing with both of us!!! Of course, he'd have to take the baby along (unless my parents take her) Either way it would be a nice "little family" vacation with her or a nice Honeymoon-that-we-never-had vacation.

Win-win...don't get that much with fibro!!

Hello. The hospital called me on Monday and said they sent the results to my primary. I called his nurse yesterday and she said they would let me know after he reviewed the results. Nothing yet! I'm really interested in seeing the results.

I would be happy to help Jeerie with writing some stuff. Believe it or not, I am a writer by profession, lol, but since I have a lot on my plate, I don't want to take on too many responsibilities and let anyone down.

June sounds fine to me for the conference.

How about getting a fibro organization to sponsor us? They could come and do a survey about pain or something while we are there, too. We could mention that possibility to them?

Finally, Amber is in my prayers, too.

June sounds good to me. And I can bring my daughter and my hubby also and then the hubbies can have a study done on them about how to cope with your spouse having fibro. My daughter can always babysit for you also.

everyone, please check out this website, which was sent to me by one person on my fibro "team". Kripalu is a place where people of the same concerns, problems, etc. get together and learn/listen from a specialist.

http://www.kripalu.org/program/view//FBM81/

this particular link is to a retreat-like course. I think the last time I looked it was about $250 for the course (4-days) and $250 for lodging and meals (dormitory style rooms).. It sounds very interesting to me, and I will probably go.W00t

Hi Everyone,

I love the idea of a retreat and would love to go, but I REALLY hate to fly and the meds it would take for me to get on plane to TN or even FL would leave me out of the loop for a day or 2 and is not worth the $$$ it would cost. Sorry.

Although I do have a question, does anyone ever get out to Calif?

Anyway sorry for having to bow out, as nice as it would be to meet a whole lot of people who actually understand me, it is not worth the stress of the travel, meds, and so on, not to mention DH attitude

I have to admit, I keep having this pop into my head every now and then wondering could happen, but with getting worse, trying to get the baby now to some playgroups and dealing with her being sick, my head has not been in the right frame of mind to think about it. I would really love it if we could pull this off though!!
