OMG! I just spent 2 1/2 hours listening to my co-worker, who was trying to help me, but in my work area, sniff CONSTANTLY! Sniff, sniff, sniffle, sniff, sniffle, etc. Just about drove me crazy and that is a very very short drive!

You wouldn't think you'd need to tell a grown woman to go blow her nose, would you? I told her I DID NOT want her to make me sick! She said, "well I won't stand near you." Are you kidding???? She was standing a foot away from me and touching my stuff!

Dang! Icky yucky!

Sick Blink Sad

Gross! I hate that! People also come to my office when they are really sick and should be at the doctor or at home. Then it spreads and they don't seem to care. I can't stand that!!

This woman is not a kid (she's 52 -- she just told me today). Wouldn't you think she'd know better?

Again I say YUCK!

Ugh that is the most annoying thing ever! Grown people I swear are sometimes worse than children. I have several autoimmune diseases that I cannot be near sick people because I get sick easily and much worse than what they had and it lasts forever! If someone is being rude kindly tell them to GET THE HELL AWAY! You cannot afford to come down with their illness because it affects you differently. Wink Brings lots of hand sanitizer to work, Lysol spray, Vitamin C chewables and wipes.

Hugs, Stacey

I would've been spraying the woman today with Lysol if I'd had any -- even though the scent gives me a horrible headaches -- as most scents do. I tried to get her to go to her desk to do part of the work and she wouldn't and insisted on staying right in my area. This is the woman whose daughter has fibromyalgia and can still do everything -- going to school, working full time, taking care of her kids, house, husband, etc. with no problems at all so what the heck is wrong with me??? I'm not very happy about having to deal with her but my boss and her boss have decided she's supposed to "help" me.

My boss is out of the office for a couple weeks but I may e-mail him and let him know what happened today and tell him I don't want to deal with that anymore! As all of you know, if I get sick, it is really bad and we just don't get over things like non-fibro folks seem to do.

Oh, grrrrr! I shouldn't be so negative. I know that! I just can't help it today!

My husband used to buy this Red Cross Nurses Spray stuff it come in a white bottle with a Red Cross and Nurse with the old fashioned hat on it but now no stores carry it. It cost like $9 a bottle but he swears by it and grew up with his grandmother always spraying the house with it. It had a weird smell not strong just weird lol I hated it but if anyone ever got sick you start spraying that crap around and nobody else would ever get sick. He bought it all the time it was a pump spray and would spray like crazy he would spray it ALL OVER ME lol. We called everywhere to try to find it and nobody had it. I think he found it online but we had to buy it bulk. He still wants to lol so we probably will.

I know what you all mean. I know if I walk into Wal-mart I cant stand in line without someone coughing and hacking all over my back without covering their mouth. Yuck first of all. Plus I know I am getting it the next day. And they not only did it, but had to stand in my personal space and do it.

That's sick and wrong. I've gotten to the point at work that I just say, I'm sorry but I can't afford to get sick, if you don't mind.... or when I'm in a bitchy mood, one day I said, "if you get me sick I'm going to kill you". LOL. I just start wiping down the phones and counters and they get the hint fast.
