MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

I have been feeling so much better. I feel petty complaining about this. But my back and shoulders are cramping. Especially around my mid back (bra strap area). I try to stretch and I get no relief. I take aleve and no relief. I found some skelaxin and took one but I dont think it helped. I'm pretty sure this is fibro related. I think I might have to search out my heating pad to see if that works. Sorry for the whinning. hugs

I'm sorry. That does suck. It sure does sound Fibro related. I have random muscle cramps too. Mine are manly in my thighs. You can even feel the knots. Soo annoying. I just pop a Soma and try to stretch. They don't go away much, but what do you do? Try getting in a warm bath too and drink lots of water. Sometimes you can flush away the toxins. Not sure if it helps, but it's worth a try. Good luck.

I get muscle cramps in literally every muscle group. Its terrible. I have this neck wrap that works really well for the neck cramps. Let me know if you find something that helps, right now I am on Neurontin and Cymbalta but it really doesn't help the cramping. Hope you get to feelin better!

Do you take any muscle relaxers at all? I tried several finding no relief I have very bad spasms and muscle cramping from both the Fibro and my MS I finally started Zanaflex (Tizanadine) and it works great for me. Everyone is different with meds there is Flexeril, Soma, Zanaflex and many more. Your doctor would know what would be best for your situation to start with and like all other meds its trial and error.

Sorry I haven't been on here for so long. The neck wraps that I use are by BeautiControl. I'm not sure how to get one other than having a Spa Party (which is totally fun..) I got mine for free that way. Let me know if you have problems finding one and I will see if I can find a way for you to get one. Not sure about the diabetes thing tho.. these don't get too hot, it's just the right amount of pressure/weight and warmth..

I get the same kind of cramping in the same place and lower neck and shoulders too. No meds seem to help. Heat is the only thing that ever helps me. I use herbal rice bags. One for the freezer for back spasms, and one for the microwave for all other cramps and joint pains. They comform to wherever you need it and just heavy enough to lay right. I love them. You could even make them or get someone to do it for you. Hope you get some relief soon.
