MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

I took a clonopin about 45 min. ago and I think it's time for bed. But the Olympics are on and I hate missing any of it. I guess that's what dvr's are for. I can't function if I have another night of insomnia. Wish me luck. (is that crazy, I'm asking for well wishes so I can sleep, OMG, I have lost any little remnant of sanity I retained. .....Oh well. Good nite my fibromites. Sleep well to everyone.

Nighty night! I hope you have a wonderful sleepfilled night with restorative sleep to help you feel much better. I hate sleepless nights, but now with my sleeping med and my melatonin, I'm usually way out by now. I'm still up tonight because I had to pick my kids up at the airport at 12:15 am. We are all settling in now for the night.

Sweet dreams!!!

Hugs~

Christine

Hi

Someone just resently pointed this out " why did God rest on the 7th day? He's God, was he tired? No he pointed out the importance of rest and it's said that sleep is a gift from God. I had insomnia for months. I thought I'd lose my mind. My Rhumy started me on steroid shots, mucscle relaxants , anti inflamitory med and it helped. When we are in pain the body keeeps sending messages to the brain. It dosent give it a chance to slow down. You are in my prayers.

Prayin4sanity,

Did the klonopin work? I have been on it for 6 yrs and just recently this past yr had to increase it. It puts me to sleep, but I don't get the restorative sleep and wake up just as tired as I was when I went to bed. Hate this pattern, will keep talking to the doc about it when I see her next month. Hope you got some sleep

Kristine

I noticed taking my Tramadol before bed will help me rest fairly well. The Klonopin helps me unwind and relax and get ready for bed, but I don't know that it causes me to sleep...good luck! I hope you get the rest you need
Meds:

Tegratol 300mgs daily
Klonopin 1-2mgs prn
Synthroid .100mcg daily
