Fibromyalgia Support Group

Well, I am so discouraged. I woke up today with pain in my calves, thighs, feet, arms and shoulders. I am waiting for my rheumy to give me the results of Vit D levels and according to the less than compassionate receptionist "it will be a few more days" before the results are in.

I have nothing to take for the pain but advil and I want to cry. I just feel like there is no way out of this crazy cycle I am in.

Suggestions?

I am sorry that you are in so much pain. Have you tried taking a hot bath? Sometimes the heat of the water will help soothe those achy muscles. I also like to stretch while I am in the shower. The heat of the water helps me.

I wish that I could take a bath. You all make it sound so relaxing. With bad knees I can't get up or down in the tub. I am not ready for someone else to help me the probably couldn't because of this stupid weight that all these medicines has put on me. I am so upset. I would love to take a bath.

Hi coolmamma. Yes, a shower always helps me. I saw the chiro yesterday and I am a little less achey today. I go again for therapy on Friday. Plus I started my vit D supplement last nite. Hoping something works for me.
