MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

So, the pain and cramping never went away thru the night and this morning. I called the Dr. to get me in and they actually did. I felt kinda bad taking 45 min of his time, he's a friend though, and I pay good money, so I guess it's ok. All in all, he prescribed me Soma and switched me to Neurontin at night for starters. I took a half a Soma a hour ago and just took the other half. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I do get frustrated with all the meds I'm on and wish it could be more simpler. I hope someone replies to my post.

hi

I know how frustrating it is.

Something happens, like a headace. you take asperine or tylenol and it's gone. Some meds are very fast acting and the conditions themselves, only temporary to begin with.

The meds your on may take a day or two to build up in your system before you get relief.

I understand also. I feel like a walking pill container. It is frustrating, all the meds, all the docs, all the PAIN!!! I hope the combo you have works. It does take time to get it "right". Then when you do, something stops working!!! Ugh!!!!!!!!!

I too relate to the frustration, and feeling like a walking pill container...lol. Why did we have to be created in such a complex manner? lol

Thanks for the nice words of encouragement. My cramping is in my legs, thighs and calves, and my arms. The dr. said it could have been from the Imitrex reaction....like a start of a flare or still left over. Who knows? They just speculate just like us. Stacey, I had to have a hyster too. Best thing I ever had done. I still have one ovary though, so I am a bit emotional with it. Does anyone notice their pain is worse when they are in their cycle? My one dr. says the hormones increases your pain.

I still have my right ovary. It was healthy so we saved it for the hormones. Smile

I do notice more pain around what would be that time of the month, they say we still cycle mine is the beginning of every month and I do notice the pain is worse.
