This past week my hands and wrist have been hurting. This is new to me because most of my pain is lower knees, lower back, feet. It seems like things are getting worst. I love to paint so this hand pain isn't sitting well with me.

Any ideas on treating it. I have been sticking my hands in cold water. Thats not fun when i always have cold hands to begin with. Just looking for some tips

I noticed that this weekend my hands, wrists and ankles were extremely sore. I'm not sure if the humidity has anything to do with it or not. But, if so, I'm in trouble for the week cause the humidity is supposed to be bad.

One thing my physical therapist had me do was a contrast bath... alternate between hot water and freezing cold water, 30 seconds each, back and forth. First time they did that there was snow outside still... so we added a little water to a full bucket of snow. SO. It definitely helped, though I hated it at the time. It was definitely a new form of water torture, but it was worth it in the end.

Thats a good idea I think I just might try that. It has been really, really humid. I didn't think may the weather had something to do with it. I just get nervous with the hand pain. The tought of giving up my painting doesn't sit well. I don't know what else i would do.
