When I take cymbalta in the morning I've noticed my appetite almost dissapears. Even when my favorite foods are put in front of me I'm not interested. This might be a fluke. I HOPE NOT. I need to lose 20-30 pounds. I remember someone on here said they ahd lost 70 lbs so far. I think she was on cymbalta. So I will keep my fingers crossed and TRY try to keep the food out of my mouth!Tongue Tongue

Some people do have a side effect of nauseau or low appitite. I never did but if this is what you want I hope it keeps up for you until you reach your goal anyway. Then if it continues you'll have to force yourself to eat anyway. Please make sure you taking a multi vitamin to make sure you are at least getting the proper nutrients.

Hey Sweets! I wondered if it was just me when I started taking Cymbalta in the mornings and food just didn't interest me most of the time. I had to go from nite to a.m. as it was making it even more difficult to sleep. Like you, I could stand to lose 15 lbs. or so, and gotta admit, it's making me do the Snoopy happy dance,( only in my mind. LOL)

It's true, after awhile of that, we will have to force feed, or change to something else.

Have a great day and will talk to you soon. Karen
