yes I do. It hurts to walk some, most mornings. It's an odd type of pain for me.

I do and it hurts so bad to walk in the mornings like TeainTN, I also have a lot of pain in my wrists, fingers, hips and elbows. I hate this illness with a passion! It is time to find a CURE NOW!

THIS is not all in my head, and NO I am not crazy!

I have joint pain all over. Then I swell, which doesn't help anything at all. I have problems in every single joint in my body... so there's really no way to help it.

I'm in PT for my knees right now, which really isn't doing much for me. And, the therapist said he doesn't think he can do anything more to help me. Really disheartening.

That reminds me... I've got to start taking my glucosamine/chondroitin again.

I may have fibromyalgia, but fibromyalgia is not me.

I get joint pain in my feet, fingers, knees, shoulders. Last night I was in pain, so I went and laid down. My dh was being nice and put the fan on. for some reason the fan was making my feet hurt I have never had that happen before.

I also have joint pain. My dad has RA so we are watching for any changes in blood work. My problems with joint pain are my left knee, and right elbow, ankles/feet. Doesn't it feel like we are just falling apart sometimes!!

yes...joint pain is terrible! Esp. when I try to get out of bed in the morning, I can hardly move because of the pain and stiffness in both my muscles and joints, mainly my ankle and knee joints. My legs actually feel like they are "on fire" when I first stand up and take those first couple of steps to the bathroom, I am unsteady, stiff, and have to hold on to the wall so I don't fall. I feel like I'm one of those plastic wind-up toys...give me about an hour, after my meds, supplements, coffee, and sitting with my legs elevated, then I'll be at nearly full speed....then I slowly wind down and just quit or fall over, like those cheap toys.

I have osteoarthritis in back and knees and feet/ankles, but blood work does not show RA...yet. I am going to a new sports medicine rheumatologist as soon as I can get in...and sort of dreading more tests, interrogation and telling my history over and over. I am burned out with doctors...sick of exams, waiting rooms, all of it!

How can you not be nervous when they hold your future in their hands...all that power, and you have to be "the good Patient" or else...not be treated well. It gets tiring sometimes, esp when you also have children with chronic conditions that require them to go to the doc's all the time.

I have heard that you can have RA without showing positive for RA antibodies, is this true, anyone know?

I have no joint pain with the Fibro but I DO believe that my Fibro started in my feet . Before I was diagnosed, I complained to dr. about not being able to walk immediately upon getting out of bed in the morning or even after sitting in my recliner for more than a few minutes.

I bought new shoes (several pairs); insoles for my shoes; soaked my feet; massaged my feet etc .. nothing helped. Dr. even suggested rolling feet at the ankles several times before getting out of bed in the morning ... to no avail.

I have no swelling other than a tiny bit once in awhile (I think it is the Lyrica) on the inside of my right ankle.

I have only known 2 people with severe RA and I think (in it s latter stages), I would rather die . It is NOT a pretty disease, not easy to live with and very painful.
