The split shift doesnt make it easier on you? I used to love those - did it when I was pregnant and loved the nap inbetween Smile LOL

I did do some shopping, but the main store (craft) I was looking for was closed, so I am still having a need to be creative problem. Hit the grocery store, treated myself to a yummy asian wrap, and now I am doing my nails. I put everything away and did the dishes too - so everyone should be fairly happy. 12 hour day tomorrow so I can't wait to crash!

Leash,

I definitely hear you on the split-shift but I think I can survive a week or two of it. If not, I will just tell them I have to go back to my regular shifts and be done with it.

You re right , those naps in between would be wonderful but I doubt I ll be able to do that tomorrow.

Yikes, 12 hour day coming up ~~~ YUCK !!! I did more than my share of those at work over this past holiday and decided (with Fibro and being Hypo), much as the holidays are my favorite time of year at work, this was my LAST holiday season working the crazies . I just can t do it anymore ~~~

bits,

I hope your ""sleeping and vegging"" were profitable today and that you re feeling well this evening.

It was definitely a great day to sleep and veg here ~~~ Another day of winds and steady rain but at least it was a bit warmer.

We haven t seen 100% sunshine for nearly 2 weeks and this week doesn t look too promising either with a major snow coming mid to end of the week.

Ahhhh, January in Ohio ....LOL !!!

Cat,

Nothing wrong with being a pack rat (to a limit) ~~~ I have a husband that is terrible. Never get rid of anything because you ""might need it some day"" ~~~ UGH !!!

Anyway, I m sure You are relieved that that chore is done . I hope you and your SIL enjoy living together. Smile

You ever watch the show Hoarders? Oh Lord! Those people don't know what limit is. I feel terrible for them, I am always so glad they are getting help. I wish they did follow ups on them.

Well I am far from done... Far from being on Hoarders but can definately see myself with some of those tendancies. (WAY TO SCARY!) I lived many years (mostly childhood) out of a suitcase and with not financial independance so when I had ability to buy I did...then I found craigslist free stuff...then I found freecycle....oh not to mention thrift stores..

We recently moved to a quaint 3 bdr home with little storage room and I vowed nothing was to pass through the garage w/o a home/place to be put. I have stuck to that and am doing well. After seeing the 1st episode of Hoarders I was like wow...I can so totally relate and got freaked a teeny bit and decided it was time to sort and reduce.

Peace & Hugs ~ Cat
