Does anyone suffer from restless leg syndrome- and if so - how do you treat it- I really dont want ANOTHER pill to take- so any other advice?
you only need two tools in life. Duct tape and wd 40. If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape it. It doesnt move and should- WD40.

I agree No More PILLS!! I just wrap a blanket around my legs, put on sweats or long johns, whatever you have to do to get them really really warm. That seems to help, if that doesn't work I just walk around the house cleaning until I am so tired that I practically fall asleep standing up.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

Okay, mccrump -- you asked! I see that you have found the two essential tools in life, WD-40 and duct tape, so I think that restless legs fall into the "it moves and shouldn't" category -- so that must mean that you should duct tape your legs together! lololol

Seriously though, I take tizanidine, a muscle relaxant, at bedtime, and not only does it help me fall asleep quickly, it also helps with the restless legs, which used to bother me horribly. Of course, as kesslmama says, being physically tired out from some exercise like house cleaning helps lots of people as long as you don't overdo till you ache all over, or do the exercise too close to bedtime.

good luck, I hope you get some help with this problem!

Zanaflex is very good for this, but I became resistant to it very fast and now take Soma, it works pretty good, and I fall asleep very quickly..I know its another pill to take but if it helps, why not give it a shot? I mean..is one more pill gonna make that much of a difference? LOL Yeah I know, I take so many pills I rattle like a pill bottle when I walk.

THIS is not all in my head, and NO I am not crazy!
