"I suffer from chronic pain due to TMJ" (smashley)

MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Ohhhhh hipmama42, I feel so sorry that you feel this way. Of course with fibro we can all empathize with you.

That is why we have this group; so when you are down someone can lift you back up; and when someone is down maybe you are having a good day.

But I and all the others.....mercy, how do we get through some days. The pain, the weight gain, watching others play with their grandchildren where now we have to tell them that mawmaw is sick and so just hug her, but be gentle. I would have never thought that at 45 my daughter explaining to her son. It breaks your heart hipmama, doesn't it. Oh and to just have 1 day, just 1 day of pain free, and the glory to enjoy that day and play and laugh and just be carefree. I don't know why I have this disease and you don't know why you were called on to carry this disease. I'm sorry for me, and you hipmama and all the others on this site. I know this IS NOT the life I would have chosen; and I know neither of the others would have chosen this life. So, what do we do with the rest of it. That's what we are all who to figure out. My prayers are with you hipmama, and I have definitely gone off subject.

The spoon theary is great guys, but I wanted to reach out to himama first.

Great poem, in fact sometime today I hope to add a poem called Blessings. I have this on my fridge and read it every morning. Sometimes it actually lifts me up. Big giantic hug to you hipmama and hugs to the rest of us......

((((HUGS))) Kathy

we all need "splashes" of JOY in the cesspools of life
