MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Most doctors, not all, but most, are butt heads. Remember 50% of them graduated in the bottom half of their class!

See the problem with this whole thing is back in the olden days.. they called people who complained all the time but could find nothing medically wrong with them as having "chronic fatigue syndrome". they just in the past few years have deemed it "fibromyalgia" and have actually found it to be a legitimate problem with real pain and real symptoms. Some of the old school doctors who practiced back in the olden days still consider it a BS diagnosis and just something told to them to "shut 'em up". A lot of nurses - even ones who just gradulated in the last few years and ones in nursing school now (the ones that ive spoke to NOT in a rheumatology field) still discredit it. Its so hard to find a physician to take you seriously. But once you do and they treat it like its real (because it is) it will change your life forever. I went to about 8 doctors before i found one who took it seriously and did inflammatory blood work on me that sent me to a rheumatologist. Be patient. God tends to put people in your life when they are supposed to be there. Smile
The only thing that stands between a man and what he wants from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe that it is possible.
