well I too had to wait for meds, even just my thyroid med and go without until the insurance to cover it. My voice gets husky too, and my legs go crazy (besides the sensation I get in my hands, feet, and ears)I too tell myself the flair won't last forever so that I can try and get through it. I can't keep up with my house and I too, seem like I am cleaning the same room (kitchen) numerous times and can't get the rest of the house accomplished. I deal with anxiety, depression and was told before that I have signs of bipolar. As for seizures, there is a concern but mine is the stare off kind (which I never knew there was that type a seizure and its not from meds). When I need to go somewhere or make plans, its takes me hours to get out of the house. I constantly want to change and rearrange every room in my house. Even if it was clean, I wouldn't think it was clean. I just try and take not only one day at a time but one hour at a time.

Oh, I've had those kind of seizures too. I think they call them absence seizures? I ended up having a car wreck because I had one and crashed into a semi.

I know someone who has epilepsy and he has the grad mal (I think they are called?) seizures. The very thought really is scary to me.

OH MY you hit a simi? Wow. Well I caught my 5 yr old doing that stare too the day before yesterday and it worried me, plus she has autism. I seem to do it a lot.

Yes, I crashed into the side of it and bounced off the back tire. Totaled my car but amazingly all I ended up with was burns from the airbag and a lot of pain in my neck. Not a big help for my fibro. But hey, at least I am still alive.

When I first started having them we just thought I was having trouble focusing because I was over-tired from my job. It got to where I was too scared to drive because I kept "zoning out" so I rarely drive anymore. Good thing I am close to everything and my husband or daughter can drive me around.

The seizure I had was labeled a simple seizure, because I didnt lose consciencous. It was the stare kind also and my extremities were jerking all over. Dr said it was more than likely nortripltyline. I had another one today. Interestingly, I had a concussion a few weeks back. My husband accidentally dropped a garage door on my head, and I blacked out. I went to hosp and they said I had a concussion. Now all of a sudden I am having these seizures. Just what I need, something else to be wrong.

how do you know when you are having a stare off kind ? Now you have me thinking.

If anyone has any imfo on this kind of seizure, I would really like to know more about it.

I would just "zone out" and when I came back it was like I missed a chunk of time. I'd wonder where I was and what happened. My husband said I'd be talking and then just be "gone". He'd talk to me and it would sound like he was way far away. Then as I came out of it his voice would gradually get louder (along with any background sounds).
