I really hadn't thought about the moon causing me trouble although I have noticed how nice it looks outside at night. Hope we all feel better soon.

It could be moon, but I find mine is more related to storms and stress and between 3 kids all under the age of 6 and full time job plus nursing school and trying to deal with this, I find I am under a lot of stress.

Not to mention that dealing with a disease that half the medical community doesn't believe is a true disease and dealing with the snide comments from people who don't understand and the insecurities we all feel dealing with a disease that keeps us from living life fully everyday is enough to stress out even the most stoic of individuals. Perhaps, that is a reason for the flareups.

Summer is sometimes more stressful to begin with because kids are out of school , have to wear clothes that don't hide the bulges and rolls and trying to deal with the hot and humid weather.

Just my thoughts. What do you all think?

Three kids under 6, and nursing school? You need some time out. You should be stressed! lol

I know what you mean about wearing clothes. I always feel so claustrophobic if any of my clothes are the least bit tight. Like bras! They drive me crazy. I wonder if this is part of it? Anywone else have a bad time with clothes?

I cant hardly wear clothes because it is so painful. I wish i could wear my silk/satin nightgowns 24/7 but the neighbors dont appreciate that very much when i take the dogs out.lol

I find that clothes, esp on the top half of my body do really bother me. And of course the ole bra. I hate them. I love to get into my satin nighties, it feels so good.

Holy cow Fibromommy!! How do you do all of that!?

I practically live in my pajamas. I throw on some clothes if I have to go somewhere, but I can't wait to take them off again.

Yes I too have a hard time with clothes, and at night can't wait till I can put on my baggies lol. If I don't go anywhere and if all anyway possible I stay in my baggies all day. Some times its whether, or some times I just don't know, but stress is definitely one cause the other day I had my girlfriend call me up all upset and kept me up all night and then my daughter called extremely upset which I feel what she feels and then I got into a fight with my youngest daughters father. The next day I was hit like a truck, fast, and became bed ridden and now trying my hardest to struggle and fight my way through it. It seems to be a number of factors and actually now It could be anything

I'm so glad to hear that some of you don't like clothes. I thought it was just me!! I'm still in my nightgown, and probably won't get dressed until I have to go out. For some strange reason, knowing others feel like I do, makes me kind of happy....(My pain pills aren't working today - must be the moon, or weather, or or or...........

I agree Holy Cow!! fibromommy, you are one strong woman.Thank goodness,I too hate to wear clothes and like mihosi thought it was just me. I wear my clothes as loose and baggy as I can get them, and have them still stay on me.
May the sun bring you new energies by day,
May the moon softly restore you by night ,
May the rain wash away any worries you may have,
And the breeze blow new strength into your being,
And then, all the days of your life,
May you walk gently through the world, and know it’s beauty and yours.

Only a strong woman because of the benefits of pain medications. Maybe that would explain why they don't work so well anymore or why the pain is so severe!!! Maybe I should ask my rheumy what he thinks!!! LOL.

I like wearing scrubs (I wear them at work), but they are comfy and don't do to much trouble, but I always feel like I have nothing to wear because the nice things hurt because I have to wear a girdle after having 3 kids to suck in the loose skin (sorry for the graphic description!), but loose things make me look 40 pounds larger!!!
