Sometimes a bladder tuck is in order and could be for several reasons. You do need to report these symptoms to your doctor though as soon as possible. There could be a few different reasons for this and some could be serious so please call your doctor. I have the same issues and mine are not from fibro but rather from MS.

Have you stopped or started Cymbalta? I noticed last time that I had to stop taking it that I began having an urgency problem. A side effect of Cymbalta is urine retention. I hardly ever have to go now that I'm back on it but I'll know ahead of time next time I stop taking it that it will make most of my bathroom visits urgent, at least for a while. The problem went away after a couple of months on celexa.

Surprise, Surprise,

Like lockman said IT IS A FIBRO THING, BOTH BLADDER AND BOWEL and can get a whole lot worse, for me I'm in womens depend pull ups constantly as have 0 control of bladder and bowels aren't to bad yet but have had a few beginning mishaps. And I've never tried what corsu's mom tried but tried every other urinary med and did absolutely nothing to help.... mine unfortunately keeps getting worse and worse (bladder) but I've also got Fibro, diabetes, interstitial cystitis, and a couple of other so with all combined. But it is one of the symptoms of fibro....in fact just read on the new board that hatbox put up and it tell symptoms I didn't even know fibro caused...so am learning more and more each day.

Only way I've been able not to have problems is to dehydrate myself and well that's not a smart way to do either LOL LOL so......It's another thing I'm learning to LIVE WITH.

I've had this problem and it is incredibly embarrassing. Especially the bowel issues. I went to the doc and had a colonoscopy, which was normal. And they couldn't find anything wrong.

I did notice that I have the biggest problem if I'm really stressed out (I tend to get really bloated then) or after I eat greasy food (I love wings!)and dairy. So, I've eliminated almost all greasy foods and most dairy. It didn't clear that problem up completely, but I have increasingly fewer "episodes".

When I've been stressed out for a while-- because of work, school, kids or whatever-- I tend to use pads just in case. Either the Serenity (or Teena? What are they called now?) or period pads. They're absorbent and have the odor protection.

I still don't know what causes it (or the bloating) but maybe you could try to change your diet a little? I know it helped me a bunch.

Good luck.

I laugh, I cry, I live.
