Hey....I have problems with my eyes a lot but nothing diagnosed but astigmatism and bad eyesight lol.

What did they tell you about your eye condition? What's causing the degeneration??

I went in yesterday for my yearly eye appointment. My doctor said that i am losing my eye site. I have another appointment with a specialist on Dec. 31st, 2009. He deals with people that are losing their eye site and those that have lost it. My doctor yesterday didn't tell me a whole lot about what is going on with me.

I am unable to drive at night cause i can not see to drive.

I have problems with my eyes adjusting to night.

My vision is not as sharp as it used to be.

Wow thanks scotike I had no idea that fibro was linked to losing eyesight!

I have problems with my eyes, mostly the right one. They thought it might be optic neuritis but the tests were negative to nerve damage. Who knows what it is. I can't afford an eye dr right now so just going on with it. Mine get blurry, painful(almost like someone scratched them), "drunk" stuff like that. I'll check out that website.

My eye doctor told me I have macular degeneration which is progressive. I don't know if its related to the Fibro. He gave me some suppliments a friend of his manufactures (questionable) but they were so big I couldn't swallow them so I never took them. I'm about due for a return visit...

Scotike11, that dx must have been an awful shock for you. Are you o.k?

I am really glad that you are seeing another doctor soon. Haven't had time to read the links that you posted but will do it tomorrow.

Angel, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gentle hugs,

Lots of love,

Faerie.
